Very friendly, rooms spotless initially disappointed English breakfast not included but continental excellent advised music on Saturday night but did not cause a problem would revisit big in area again.

I have given 1 star, because the is no option for zero. Arrived at opening time. Had to step over the glass on the floor from the night before. The till was slow, the card reader not working, and there was no ice behind the bar. The hand pull had no pump clip and clearly had not been pulled through, tasting bad enough that when he tried it dad opted for a push button instead. It all seemed to have come as a huge surprise to the bar lady that she was open. She repeatedly told the customers how rough she felt from the night before. This was the absolute epitome of a dive. Will not be going back until this place changes hands.

Second time I have stayed and have to say it's night and day, great staff can't do enough for you, the landlord s breakfast is spot on. Have to say the pub is so much friendlier. I can highly recommend this place now

Turning up at a hotel with a ‘business opportunity’ sign outside is never a good sign.And so it proved. The 4 star categorisation is as unbelievable as some of the reviews. 2 stars would be generous.The welcome was delayed and perfunctory; some of the decor outside the bedrooms is tired; and the room somewhat basic. Breakfast was adequate at best. At £99 per night for single occupancy it is seriously overpriced.
