Tesco Pharmacy

Just wanted to share my 1 year experience with you all. I have been on pain killers for some time. I have always been able to go and the ladies in white and they have been mega helpful in all aspects from chancing my prescription because my doctors didn't send it over(even when they said it had been done) to calling me or texting me to let me know part or all of my prescription was ready to collect. This is because they take great pride in helping others. I understand and respect that I'm not the only customer sadly not all customers understand this and expect a fast food experience. If you take time to talk to the ladies I'm sure you will get and understand why it's not a fast food experience.Keep up the great work ladies and gents.Have a nice day.

Absolute waste of time. Must be deaf, as never pick up the phone. When I've arrived in person, 4 members of staff are literally right next to phone completely disregarding customer enquiries. To top it off they never have stock in and have to order it in. This takes 2-3 working days. Honestly the most useless pharmacy in Portsmouth. Do not use.

They said they would phone me at midday to let me know if my wife's medication was in guess what no phone call so I tried phoning them but no one will pick up the phone.Use SAINSBURY pharmacy nice staff they pick up the phone and let you know when your medication is ready

Staff at tesco pharmacy were extremely helpful. Particularly the tall blonde one. She was extremely helpful with advising myself with what I could possibly help with cystitis as I could not get a GP appointment. Very grateful for the advice.

Pharmacy is useless! Called asking update on Rx. We will text you when it's ready" - I told pharmacist I was literally waiting for my meds in a motorhome as I am going to France. "We will text you!" NOT GOOD ENOUGH TESCO!"

Never pick up their phone, called over multiple days on average over 30mins!! It just rings then hangs up. Dreadful service.

The staff are friendly and helpful but they could definitely be a bit quicker in coming to assist. I think it would be better if the staff preparing the prescriptions were out of view, a lot of people get the impression they are ignoring customers even though that’s not what they’ve been tasked to deal with that shift. It definitely gives that impression though when the customer in front has 10 minute chat with the pharmacist and no one else comes to help the que of 5 people.

Wonderful staff, hit and miss with stock shortages these days. Extremely busy for such a small place and doing the best they can considering all the pharmacy closures around the area.

Lack of customer careI would have given zero ⭐️ Stars but this wasn’t an option. The service has deteriorated over the last couple of years with staff blaming it on too many people using it as designated pharmacy and lack of staff. Today however they reached an all time low. I did shopping whilst waiting for my prescription from the surgery which was urgent and to help prevent my condition deteriorating and potential admission. However, when I went to check on it the pharmacy technician told me it wasn’t urgent as not an antibiotic and therefore not a priority or important. They would apparently get to it tomorrow and then if it needed ordering it may be over the weekend before available. Even if you think this, how can you without knowing the circumstances decided what is or isn’t important for that patient and their medical condition. How can staff be so rude to customers and think it’s acceptable. Needless to say I shall be changing my nominated pharmacy as no one deserves to be spoke to in this manner.
