The Stamford Spa
The mineral (iron water) spring was brought into use in 1819 and much sought after by persons afflicted by various ailments in the belief that the water had medical properties. The stone head was placed here by order of John Paradise in 1864.

A lovely walk along the river Welland plenty of spots for the dog to jump in for a swim, you just relax and loose yourself on the walk
