Clearwell Mobility

Bought a wheelchair several months ago, lady was friendly and wheelchair does the job. She is clearly just a sale women and once she got the sale turned her back. I had a few concerns however after two emails and three phone calls waiting to hear back from the engineers I have given up and done the research and bought and fitted it myself. Being a shop for people with mobility issues it needed to be sorted asap however they clearly didn’t care to offer the support and service. Not what you expect when you are spending hundreds of pounds.

April 2018 - We helped my 87 year Mother in Law choose an Electric Riser Recliner Chair from Clearwell Mobility. The staff at the Chichester Branch Shop of Clearwell were so helpful as were the Clearwell Delivery Team. My mother in law is delighted with her new Chair selected from a great range of Chairs and Fabric Choices at Clearwell Mobility.

I found the staff very helpful and always have. I bought a four wheeled walker. Which I am very pleased with. The lady who served me had to put one together as I wanted a blue one which was still in the box. She did it quite happily for me. I’m very pleased with the service.

Brilliant from start to finish. We had an urgent need for a stairlift. Got same day advice as to which make/model best, next day home visit to measure up and installed within 6 business days from date of order. Absolutely excellent and highly recommend the Clearwell team. Cheaper than going to Stannah direct too!

This place let's you compare and inspect all sorts of aids for elderly and physically challenged people.Went jn for something specific, found it, received polite, efficient service.

Great store for any mobility needs. Staff very friendly and are always able to offer advice. With ageing parents who with extra needs very useful. Thanks to the staff for being so helpful.

Really bad experience here, went in looking to try and order a road worthy mobility scooter, sales people had no real knowledge regarding them, everything seemed like it was too much trouble and I couldn't even try it outside of the tiny showroom. I walked out remarking that it had been a completely wasted trip. You Lost a large sale to one of your competitors!

Staff couldn't have been more helpful. My 96 year old father had eventually decided he did want a power-assist wheelchair and we quickly dropped into Clearwell Burgess Hill to 'strike while the iron was hot'. The staff were enthusiastic and respectful and helped my father to see a wheelchair as a positive decision. They let us try out the wheelchair; made suggestions about cushions; and then went out of their way to locate a chair and power assist wheels when the model we wanted was out of stock locally. When we collected the chair they again helped with trying out different ramps to assess if ramp access to the car was an option. Really excellent friendly service. I had to contact them within a few days because the power lever was sticking and they quickly put me through to the engineers who were able to advise and solve the problem.
