Longstaff

I have been a client of the Bourne office since 2011, both as a landlord and vendor as well as the Executrix of my late father's estate (his property is managed by the Bourne office), and the staff have always been very helpful, knowledgeable, accommodating and efficient. I have known Kit for more than 10 years having worked with him, and when he took over managing the Bourne office and I needed the services of an estate agency I had no hesitation in asking him to act for both myself and my father. The ladies in the office, Dawn and Angela, are always very supportive and if there are any issues that need addressing will deal with them in a professional and timely manner. I recommend this branch of Longstaff very highly.

The Bourne team have managed my property since 2010. The staff are very professional and knowledgeable. Property is inspected regularly and I am notified of any issues quickly. I would happily recommend to any prospective landlord.

Zero stars! As a landlord, I would never use this company for managing my properties. My wife and I rented a property through them, and it was presented to us with dog urine stains on the carpet, then we had numerous other problems (not wear and tear) throughout a 10 month let. Whilst a lot was down to the landlord, the attitude of one member of staff who I will not name (suffice is to just call her AG) was appalling. Utterly miserable as sin! In my experience, she would never smile, was always super-defensive, and there was absolutely no sense of customer service. Needs a personality implant! Other members of the team were friendly and understanding, but this one knows how to take advantage of any loopholes in the TA, especially when anything is not signed, or not covered. We sent numerous photos of problems when we moved in, but we were never provided with an updated inventory. The issues were dealt with, but no updated documents. In my opinion, I do not trust them especially after they charged me for garden work after we left that they never provided an invoice for, despite multiple requests, so suspect it went into their pockets. I don't, and would never take my business to them.

We have been with Longstaff now for over 6 years. We have been with other renting managements over the years but none match up to Longstaff. The staff are all very helpful, cheerful and friendly yet still act professionally. I have had reason to contact their emergency number one weekend and one bank holiday. The telephone was answered and the problem was sorted out there and then. Now that's what I call above and beyond service for reassurance. Thank you Longstaff and ma we be with you for many years to come.It is now July 2021 and we have had to call upon Longstaff for many maintenance problems in our rented accommodation i Baston. We have been in the rental for over 8 years now. We cannot praise the staff enough for all their kindness and hard work in managing to have the problems dealt with. Last Saturday we discovered a leak under our kitchen sink and within one hour a plumber appeared and fixed the problem saying that if left unattended then damage to the surrounding wood be caused by water. Just a small thing to them but very reasuring for us and the landlord. We look after this property as our own and we feel that the staff of Longstaff appreciate this as does our landlord. After having a very poor experience with another letting agent in Bourne, I had lost all faith in finding a home that we would be happy in.We found a property that would suit us as a family, it was being let through Longstaff. I hadn't really come across them before so I made enquires and WOW! I was shown the property by the lovely Georgie and when we decided to go for it we sat down with Dawn, who is amazing, she made us feel at ease and talked us through everything so we knew exactly where we stood.What a great team and we are now moved in and settled, in a fantastic home.Thank You!

The staff in the Bourne team are warm, friendly and professional.We were a little apprehensive as we were moving back to the area after letting a property away from Bourne, but as soon as we met Dawn we felt at ease and she was able to answer our questions and suggest other properties that may suit our needs and budget.We then met Angie at our next viewing and again she was able to answer all of our questions and nothing was too much trouble!We are now settled in to our home and have found Longstaff to be very responsive with any issues. Would highly recommend!

Very poor promise to call you I heard nothing for 2 days only got reply because I made contact with them I am a full-time carer for my Mum on universal credit carers benefit as soon as they knew that I was a nobody they didn't want to know they only dealt with me to keep me happy they were never going to help me get a rental property from them stay well away from this company

We have just bought a house with Dawn at Longstaff and have nothing but high praise for the staff, we have found Longstaff to be very professional and accomadating and friendly and they could not of made the process of buying a house any easier. I would highly recommend the staff and the service they offer.

Longstaff's have managed and let our property for the last 5 years they inspect the property regularly and keep us up to date with any issues. Dawn in the Bourne office is very professional, organised and easy to deal with and we would happily recommend them
