Truly Scrumptious Cake Boutique

We had this baker do our cake for our wedding last summer, the tasting was fantastic before contracting with them for the cake, but both flavor cakes we had gotten for our wedding turned out terrible. Both cakes (Arnold Palmer and Almond w/raspberry) were extremely dry, basically flavorless. After the tasting of both flavors and how impressed we were by the quality of the tasting it was extremely disappointing how pitiful the cake was on the day of our wedding.

My daughter got her cake from here as part of a wedding package and thought we were in safe hands, had cakes from this company in the past. The company neglected to tell us they now attach their icing to the cake with white chocolate, which my daughter dislikes with a passion and actually makes her physically sick.I think if cake companies are discussing your choices for your cake, this should be mentioned. Surely if you get to choose the flavour of your cake, you should be given the option of what is used to attach the icing. No disrespect to Truly Scrumptious this is not just a fault with your company, we have had cakes with other baker's that have been ruined by what they attach icing with. I totally get the whole nut allergy thing but when did marzipan stop being an option. The cake itself was absolutely lovely but was ruined simply by the fact the white chocolate was used.

We had our wedding cake from here and honestly I would not recommend.We wanted something simple. We had two tiers the same flavour (when we asked for three different flavours).We asked for one modelled dog eating a bit of the cake and it looked nothing like a dog - people kept asking what it was.I have emailed 3 times after to ask what happened and I have been ignored so I am leaving a review to tell others of our experience.I have attached a photo for reference so you can see what we got.

Absolutely delighted with my daughters 21st birthday cake. Truly scrumptious made a formula one - car cake it was amazing! It not only looked good the baking quality and taste was outstanding! I have used this company before and will again. I highly recommend truly scrumptious!

What can I say about our wedding cakes! They were absolutely amazing! From the moment we first tried the cake at the Norton House Hotel Wedding Fair to the moment the cakes were at our wedding, the staff have been fantastic. Hello, just to say that the cake and the service from Truly Scrumptious" is always excellent.My daughter loved her Trolls cake today and although there was an error with the date of collection the stuff of Truly Scrumptious was able to deliver timely with excellent quality once again. Truly scrumptious created a beautiful wedding cake for us and we could not be happier. We had asked for something simple as it was a very small ceremony but they went above and beyond to create something really stunning. It was also delicious.
