Co-op Food - London Road

Had a revamp and looks alot better,Also seems like there paying more attention to cleanliness than they used to so do think its well worth it for a quick shop,Staff still need to be better at their customer service but it is alot better than it used to be

Much better layout in there lately but they seem to take forever to restock shelves and most notably the staff have ZERO customer service skills aside from one irish lady. I went in yesterday evening and there was this young (asian?) girl with glasses and I swear, she was so grumpy it made me uncomfortable. And when they have to come over to the self service machine, you say thanks, and they dont even look at you. I try to make sure i dont buy anything i need age verification for, just to avoid dealing with the staff lol

I'm a regular customer here but everytime I shop here, I feel like I'm being watched and followed by the security guys. Wherever I am looking for some stuff, I see them roaming and watching me. Even on the till when I am paying, the security keeps walking at my back and watching if I'm gonna steal something. This always happen to me and I don't know the reason why. From now on I'm gonna shop in Tesco across the street not in Co-op anymore.

Great co op at Cementery junction but no place to car park. Some good food selection and prices are high as normally does as is well located, you have a Tesco opposite.

One star for the two staff who’s actually smiley and decent.Two asian workers who I will name and shame, are RACIST!! ALWAYSSSSS follows only BLACK PEOPLE in the shop to see if they will steal.One is talk skinny male asian, the other is a short asian with glasses and brown hair. As soon as you enter shop if your black only gets will pretend to work on the shelf where you are and keep following you around the shop. This is because his daughter is a thief she has been caught stealing many times and the tall Asian’s wife is currently is locked up for stealing. These two are the ONLY ones who will follow only black people in the shop. Also they close at 9pm sometimes, sometimes 10pm, they are always in rush to go home. Co op time is supposed to close at 11pm but they are always ready and out the shop before11pm!!!Tescos across the road has great customer service, the Close at 23:00 on the dot, not one minute earlier!! And NEVER follow only black peoples , I’ve never been followed in tescos or any shops in reading apart from the RASCIST MAN from co op! ( will upload photos)

The shop was recently refurbished, it is more brighter, better organized and they have extended range of food.There are 3 self checkouts (card payment only), if you do not have a card do not worry clasicc cash desks are still there.I appreciate adding Amazon locker.

Very expensive. Poorly stocked.Staff are not always very helpful and sometimes they don't seem to know what they are doing tbh! Had numerous mistakes with overcharging..would not really recommend this store to shop!

Compared to other stores Co-op is a little expensive. However, the quality is really high. For students it can be preferable to visit the store during the evening, when they can always find food with reduced price.

Not as wide a selection as larger Co-ops, but they have the important stuff. Prices are average but great if the Any 3 for £7" kind of deals aren't sold out."

Shelves always stocked easy to get around great location for locals
