Susan's was the 2nd shop I went to looking for my wedding dress then tried a few more before returning here. I found THE dress and Beverly was very professional and helpful.I returned the week before my wedding day to get some straps that I tried with my dress as the one's my seamstress was trying to make with the jacket that came with my dress wouldn't work and she was more than happy to help me out so my dress was perfect for my wedding. My sister and best friend also got there wedding dresses from Susan's and were pleased with the service also.100% recommend

Really disappointed with my experience, dress ordered too big and did not fit on my wedding day as when I first tried on. Owner had never acknowledged the mistake and neither apologized saying it was my fault. Would avoid this shop. You can see below the dress i tried on the day i decide to buy and it clips on my back at my waist and the dress i wear on my wedding day after a lot of alterations and tell me that is because i lost weight or was because the one i tried on the shop didn't fit on my hips....

This is the worst shop ever. I ordered both my wedding dress and three bridesmaids dresses and they were all wrong! 6 weeks before my wedding I discovered that my wedding dress was two sizes too small and it could not be altered. This left me with no dress! As for the bridesmaids dresses when they finally arrived only four weeks before the wedding they were all too short. My dress cost £1500 and each bridesmaid was £165, so for that money it should have been perfect. Ruined my wedding completely so I would suggest you steer clear of this place.

Prom dress shopping for my daughter and we come across this beautiful shop, with the nicest, helpful ladies ever. A great selection of dresses in good sizes on the hanger to be able to try on if you are larger than a size 4 or 0, which is what we a few shops only offered to try on or look at. The friendly inviting atmosphere made prom dress shopping with a fussy teenager so much more pleasant. Thank you!

We had an appointment for prom dress shopping.Us and my daughter were made to feel very welcome. There was no pressure over time, budget or for how many dresses she could try on. It was a perfect appointment, very friendly. I HIGHLY recommend coming here.

Absolutely love this shop, Bev is so welcoming and friendly. The dresses are so beautiful. My most recent dress was a beautiful ballgown style for a pageant where it won me best beauty wear once again. Every dress I have brought from Susans of Gosport has been stunning and Bev is always so willing to help even last minute. I would recommend this store to everyone who needs a dress for any event.
