Pets at Home Giltbrook

Needed to get some flea treatment for my new pup, the staff member who helped was fantastic and helped me get him all sorted and on a monthly plan

Great place for puppy products.

Perfectly adequate pet store. Very large inside, but not particularly modern. The till area seems very close to the entrance making it a bit of a squeeze to get past people. Staff are very polite and helpful.

Myself and my dog always enjoy a visit to Pets at Home. Good choice of dog related items and staff on hand to offer advice

Didn’t get everything I needed so had to shop elsewhere.Cashier seemed reluctant to pack my shopping bag today, even though he could see that I had my dog, purse and phone in hand (for the app)Wasn’t asked about any vouchers on my app so missed out again on discounts.You push for using the app but don’t follow up with support to get maximum use out of it.

Very good range and friendly staff. Some products better value elsewhere.

If you want attitude from Ella then go here. Never ever had a issue with staff at any other store. Came here with my wife , son and dog to buy puppy supplies this evening. When entering the store I clearly said to my son look at the bunny BUT don’t tap on the glass. Once we was at the bunnies Ella said don’t tap the glass as it upsets the animal. She clearly heard me stating this to my son on entry as she was standing behind the till area. I did respond to her “ did you not hear what I said to my son when we entered? “ no response apart from a dirty look from her. Bare in mind my child is 5 years old. As responsible animal owners and having some common sense I address this with my son as we entered. As we got to the till she couldn’t of made the transaction anymore awkward. Soon as we’d paid she lent on the side and pulled her mobile phone out having a good browse. ( brown case flip open thing ) I wouldn’t really call it great customer service. If your going to allow staff to play on mobile phones at least wait until the customers have left. I know it’s a Saturday night and Ella would probably more then likely want to be at home. Customers contribute to paying staffs wages, I think some extra training is needed at this store. Transaction time 18:56 18/11/23 just incase you want to check your cctv. I definitely won’t be using this store again.

Please don’t buy fish from pets at home in general, they really don’t look after them. Found a poor half moon betta dying of white spot in a grotty tiny box. Please buy off of informed breeders that don’t treat them like this.

Avoid, charging me for flea and wormer plan, constantly let me down due to stock levels. Raised this with live chat (calling the customer service just gives you pre recorded message), they answered none of my questions and terminated the chat! If you like getting stresse, and wish to increase your density of grey hair, then go for it!
