Lovely place and idea that me and my partner welcomed in Leeds Docks massively spoilt by rude and unwelcoming staff.Hopefully management will take those reviews about they employees into consideration and will replace them.

Worked in a few co-working spaces and Department is definitely a solid one. It's a bit on the higher end scale but the facilities and space itself are top-notch and the coffee/tea make it good value for money. Also, the lighting is really good. There are cool community events and a motivated group of people in the space so you can get social if you want to, but it doesn't feel forced. A lot of people – like myself – are just keen to get after it.

Really lovely place all around- has everything you need if you’re someone like me who enjoys working away from the house. Coffee for the afternoons, beer for the evening, and comfy sofas to get settled into while you get on with stuff. There’s a members only floor that I haven’t visited, but the ground floor is free for all to use.Really excellent, beautiful space that I would highly recommend! Will be making this a regular spot from now on.

The place itself is lovely and of a high quality. Unfortunately, I was made to feel very unwelcome in using the workspace. I went in on a Saturday, there was no one at the reception desk so I went to the restaurant till to enquire. I thought I would be able to grab and coffee and do some work downstairs. I wasn't really offered any assistance or guidance, felt really unwelcome and like an inconvenience. It was my first time in the place and I wouldn't go back to work there.I would also add that there was lipstick around my coffee mug, but after the encounter previously, I didn't feel like I could say anything.

Went in to work and have some lunch. Initially I found the menu a bit odd, it doesn't really explain what some of the dishes are. The meals themselves are small but very tasty. I found them expensive for what they are. The staff seem friendly but I felt a little like we were being pushed to leave the restaurant area as we were finishing off some work but were prompted to pay our bill

It's beautiful, good food & coffee and the staff are friendly but it does lack clarity which gives it a bit of an awkward vibe. You feel a bit like you're having dinner in a cafe; having coffee in an office; or working in a restaurant. If you assume you're welcome to do any of these things, it's a great place to meet, work and hang out. If they can make the walk in a bit smoother, it's definitely got the potential to be the coolest place for young professionals and creative colleagues to hang out (whatever they're doing).

Facilities are great, some staff are great too. However, some staff are quite rude. Those rude staff will bully certain people who don't fit in with their inner circle. I was made to feel like I wasn't welcome there and they were really rude about it too.

The setting is fabulous, but the food and coffee served below average . Sticky toffee pudding was a disaster . Hope they raise the food to be up to the place
