The new company that has taken over the sports facilities here are awful, not only have they doubled the price of the pitch. They throw their weight around when we have been playing here for years, that new woman on reception is a jobsworth

Left this school last year, it overall was a good school. All the teachers are good and supportive. I would honestly recommend sending your children here as it ls probably the best in the local area.

Not a very nice school don't really get any soupport and teachers are stricter then they need to be and are more bothered about how smart we look but not how smart we become with education

Hey. I used to be a student at this school. I made it to year 8 before I started having panic attacks due to everything in year 7. School doesn’t really care about you. More like a business if I’m being honest. Teachers are stricter than they need to be and have extreme measurements. Only people that were helpful was: Mr Mccan, Mr Caine( who left), Miss Boden and my old form tutor Miss Wood. They deserve a raise. They are the only ones that actually care about the kids. And I’m not saying this because I’m a naughty kid or I got in trouble slot there, I only had 4 corrections( detentions) in my time of being there so I’m actually a good kid. Wouldn’t send your kid here if I was you. The offsted report isn’t good anyways and next time they come it will probably get an even worse review. Thanks for reading!

I don’t think you should send your kids because they care more about how you’re looking every day rather than your education and they say that they want you to have the best education, but when they get the chance to, they’re always putting on detentions or a correction as they call it You can’t even go toilet without getting a teacher coming to you and shouting in your face because you were wandering around the building trying to find a toilet that was open because they locked them all do not send your kids here

Don't send your kids here especially if they have any sort of physical or mental disability. Two attacks on two disabled students in two weeks? Scummy little rat hole.

After reading the recent policies you’re putting in place “Corrections” and “Re-Entering”, it sounds like the children would be better off at a military camp. What are you doing to the children at this school and bringing such extreme measures in place?Your policies are beyond absurd, which only has a reflection on the staff.Well done on bringing Main Street schooling back to the 1940’s by mentally abusing children.

Terrible school i go here I’m in year 10 and I’ve been going to this school since yr7. I joined when it was still Manchester health academy it was still bad back then but it wasn’t as bad as it is now it changed to Dixons in 2022 and ever since then it has gotten ridiculously and unnecessarily strict you can’t even have certain hairstyles or any streaks in your hair or they’ll send you home and they make students do unnecessary things that have no purpose like morning meeting and advisory. I honestly would not recommend sending your child here it is a horrible school even on google maps its rated 2 stars. And it starts at 8:15am when most uk high schools start at 8:30am or 9:00am so that’s another bad thing. Overall its just a terrible school
