Maya's World Buffet & Bar

Disgusting, all you can eat yet I could barely eat the food. Most of the food had gone foul. Won't be surprised if I wake up with food poisoning. Passed on the pudding because the plates were dirty and chipped. There was dirt on most of the food. We were charged for a dinner service yet dinner things weren't put out till we were leaving. The drinks were flat. Waiter didn't bother to ask if there was an issue when I was leaving full amounts of food on the plates. Not worth the money and has left me £40 out of pocket, with a still empty stomach.

Be wary of the food, it seemed to be uncooked and looked like it had sat around for a couple days. A friend felt extremely nauseous and had to run to the bathroom a couple of times. When we were asking for a refund, my friend’s head was pounding and it was clear that she was in a lot of discomfort, yet the staff stood there and asked us what we wanted and made the situation extremely awkward.None of the staff smiled or made us feel welcome. Unfortunately, you cannot give this place no stars. Do not waste your money here, food was simply inadequate

Went in on a Friday lunchtime. Very quiet. Sushi wasn't great dry and old. Chef was good he cooked the additional items we wanted. Waitering stuff on their phones most of the time. I've had better just felt there was no effort in the food or from staff.

Been her a couple of times. We came again for my sons birthday. The whole issue with pay at the bar before you eat thing is a bit weird. Was made to feel a bit awkward when I went up to help myself to the buffet food then told I need to pay 1st while I'm walking back with a plate full of food. Makes you feel a little uncomfortable doing this. We got here early at 4:30. The restaurant was empty. The food was ready but I found a lot of it dry looking like the chips, wedges etc. The Indian and Chinese section stays nice and hot and tastes fresh but that's because of the way they're kept hot. There's something about this place, it's missing something. Look at the buzz in Cosmo for example compared to this buffet place. This is a big restaurant and technically it should be packed but it's lacking polite staff and has to many dry looking foods

I totally regret coming in here. We were welcomed with pure rudeness, horrific glaring and an uncomfortable atmosphere. It felt awfully cold and awkward inside. The music was too loud and the staff that worked there look as though they couldn't care less. The waitress was terrible at her job and didn't have the appropriate approach to serving customers. She forced us to buy a drink before seating us. The food was disgusting. The pizza was hard like a brick. The bolognese was cold and tasteless. The sushi was stodgy and wet. The rice tasted old. Seriously, if you want a good buffet then please go to East which is literally only down the road. The food there is wonderful and the staff won't treat like you like absolute rubbish. The people that work here are horrific and if I were the owner of the restaurant, I would 100% show them the door. Seriously, I asked where the plates were as I wasn't sure and she just pointed abruptly and gave me a really dishy look. For at least 3 days I was sitting on the toilet as this place gave me serious diarrhoea. It was a waste of money and a waste of my time. Please somebody shut this terrible place down or at least sack your terrible staff. There's absolutely nothing good to say. The waitress was a disgrace and seemed unexperienced and unfriendly towards customers. If I were to remember her name I would've been proud to have mentioned it. I will never be coming again and I would rate it 0 stars if I could.EDIT: I'm so glad that justice has been served and this diabolical place has been shut.

Food is very very average and I would say just palatable enough to fill your belly. The quality has definitely taken a big hit over the years. The manager appeared so unwelcoming to the customers. A big put off for us. The junior staff is lovely though. Not going there again.

not much choice for dinner. supposed to be cheap drinks after 5pm for wonky weds but didn't get them. gone downhill from the last time I visited. very disappointed as drove up for the day and brought some family members with me too.. would have been better going somewhere else and spending the money. even Wetherspoons would have been better.. pizza was full of grease. the stir fry didn't have many options. one sushi roll as an option for sushi..

Been a few years since we had been here, so we decided to give it another go. On arrival the barman couldn't even manage a smile. Gave us our drinks, which we paid for at the same time as our meal and we were shown to a table. The restaurant was empty apart from one other table. No atmosphere at all. The food was okay taste-wise, but was barely warm. The raw meats looked awful, I didn't even think about trying them! The pasta dish was a dry mess, not sure what the cauliflower cheese was supposed to compliment? The only thing that was hot, was the freshly cooked nan. Staff looked bored and uninterested. Barman managed what some may call a smile as we left. Wont be going back, far better food and service at a similar place up the road.

Awful food. Oil smells and not being changed. Chicken and lamb did not taste fresh. Pretty sure it's sheep not lamb in any case. Selection was very very limited, particularly for a dinner service. I think the staff are also aware of how poor the quality of food is, yet they continue to serve, which makes me even more upset. Would definitely not recommend or return.
