Urban Jungle

I visited Urban Jungle today, and it's a great shop. I came in for supplies for my cornsnake, and I'm very happy. It's weird that accessories cost so much, but it's the case anywhere, and I would rather support shops like this than bigger chains. I've also seen many animals inside so go and find out what you'd like!

Friendly helpful staff. Assists with all the questions I had about my fish tank, fish types and food. Been going there since 2015 including my family. I can recommend going there.

Wide range of pets and well cared for and presented. Staff are very friendly. My little one and I had a lovely time there today

Great customer service, unfortunately I had a faulty thermostat unit, not the shops fault as it was brand new in the box, but swapping it was no question, and even before that no question was too stupid, and they will happily spend as much time as is needed to make sure we left with all the conference and information we needed.

WARNING: If you are looking for a job here they will ask for illigal unpaid trail shifts and then ghost you completely after work.I completed 3 shifts thinking I had got the job (I mean why else would they ask me to keep coming back) a few years back when I was desperate for work but have never been paid for 3 full days work in the aquatic section.Reason for 2 stars? The range of animals is great for a store and some of the staff know what they are talking about. I wouldn't trust the fish guys though they are very nice and friendly they didn't even understand how to use aquarium salt tonic but the rest seemed educated. They were also smart enough to ask me to work trail shifts" over the phone so I don't have a paper trail to take to court for unpaid wages so instead they get this review."

Popped into Urban Jungle today as we'd walked past on the way somewhere else, and my little boy asked if we could we go in on the way back.The animals here seemed well cared for, and the staff were very helpful and knowledgeable when we asked for advice on our veiled chameleon (who wasn't purchased from here). There was a wide selection of pets in store today, including more exotic pets such as snakes, spiders, bearded dragons, frogs, geckos, tortoises, etc. as well as rabbits, hamsters, rats, mice, and birds. There was also an aquarium located downstairs, though I didn't go down there.My children had a lovely time looking at all the animals, and I'm sure we'll be back again in the future.

Stumbled across this shop, quite compact but had a lot of exotic pets, rabbits, and birds further back, and lots of things a pet owner may need. Downstairs is dedicated to fish, nice place to pop into if you have children (or anyone else interested) to have a browse at the animals. Please do respect the animals and follow instructions, including not tapping the glass on the tanks etc.!
