We were made to feel so welcome about a whole skill set that was alien to the group, everyone enjoyed themselves and achieved well beyond the amount of accurate hits we thought we'd get going in. The instruction was helpful without being intrusive and we all learned a lot rather than just experiencing a day out. Very much recommend for anyone to try, of any skill or confidence level.Thank you Maws for an epic day!!

Amazing place, owner was patient showing me and my daughter how to throw properly and safely. Great venue, great staff, welcoming and such fun, as well as definitely being worth the money!!!! Recommend 1000%

Been there today for the first time at axe throwing and Mark the instructor walked us each threw the process and by the end we were all having a great time. We all left with smiles on our faces wanting more. Would definitely recommend you give it a try.

Had a great time at Axylum throwing axes for the first time!Maws was a great teacher, and clearly enthusiastic and had us hitting the target in no time, without injuring ourselves. Everyone there was friendly and welcoming and they've got great membership options for everyone that wants to go regularly!

Absolutely fantastic day, MAW and Gimli were brilliant. We took a range of ages including a 12 year old with autism and he was given ear defenders and gentle coaching. Can't wait to go back again. Great value and great fun had by all of us. This will definitely become a regular for a get together for friends and special days out. Xx

5 of us had an hour and a half introduction to axe throwing and it was bloody (no actual blood thankfully) good fun. Everyone was friendly and patient and all of us are looking forward to going back soon.

Oh my god, who would have thought throwing an axe would be so much fun.Fabulous set up and everyone there is so friendly.Mark aka Maws was there to lend a helping and guiding hand throughout the experience, giving feedback and offering suggestions to help.I can definitely see how it can become addictive, in constant competition with yourself to do better.Would highly recommend to anyone and everyone who wants to try something a little different, can't wait to book in and go again!
