Beautiful and very impressive building for a bookstore.Superb collection.WE had a quick look around due to time constraints.I felt as if I was in Shakespeare's house...amazing.WE will definitely return to spend time and money!thank you.

A proper bookshop and newsagent. Magazines for all interests and a vast selection of greetings cards. The bookshop part though is fabulous! A great selection of books and comfy seats to sit in. The atmosphere and ambience were great - a proper book shop!

Friendly and relaxing to browse in a decent bookshop ! They are so hard to find. There are even a couple of comfy sofas to sit and preview new books!

A lovely well kept gothic building. The staff are friendly and very informative. It is a local independent business. Selling mainly books and magazines, they also sell cards and wrapping paper. Thorntons chocolate is also sold here. Everything is sold at rrp, so it is cheaper to buy else where, but that's the same with any small business. I would love to shop there more and support all the amazing staff, buy unfortunately I can't afford it. It is a treat to go and buy a book from there.

Nice variety of books, ranging from new releases to classics. The children's section had a train display and seating area, which the kids really enjoyed. I thought that was a lovely touch as very few bookshops are welcoming towards children by creating space for them. The staff were friendly and approachable.
