High price poor service, carpet fitters very rude. The owner does nothing once payment taken in advance. They don’t care about time either service was delayed but no apology. Please avoid

We have had a fantastic service by V.J carpets. After getting quotes for £400/£500 from Tapi and Carpet-right we went here and got a decent quality carpet with free underlay and fitting for £250 for my bedroom.They called on the day of fitting (Monday) to say that carpet we had chosen had not been delivered and to come and pick something else as a replacement. We decided on a similar colour but it was £100 more and the owner didnt charge us extra and we got the carpet fitted on the same day.The fitters were polite and did the job. I would recommend them.

avoid ! takes wrong mesaurements , doesnt giv invoice . keep saying will drop it but never does .

Ordered carpets for the entire house, all fitted on the given day/date/time. Payment not asked for, found fault in the living room carpet, it was promptly replaced. Payment made after 1 month of carpets been fitted. The owner is a decent man. would highly recommend him

crap service. carpet not delivered on time and when delivered they delivered the wrong one and manager doesn't know what he is doing avoid!!

Arranged for carpets to be fitted on Wednesday morning, but eventually job was carried out on Friday afternoon, allegedly the delivery van broke down. Fitters did a good job but took 6.5 hours instead of quoted 4 hours. All rooms were covered in waste carpet fluff" and when fitters were asked to vacuum it up they said "we don't do that". Had to with-hold payment until furniture was placed back in original positions. Mess left on stairs and landings and entrance lobby that had to be swept up by other residents of the flats. Not recommended."

Having used VJ for both my own house as well as rented properties I have always found them to be cost efficient, prompt & polite! As it is their own business they have to keep every customer happy unlike the sales persons you get at the major carpet retailer, who get paid regardless! VJ himself is a nice guy, offers good advice and comes round to measure up! Highly Recommended!!

High price, Cheap Qulity and Post sale they dont respond.

This guys are con artist, first they will tell you the price in yards which is less them meter and cheaper, then when you give them the measurement in meter the price goes up obviously.Recently some carpet fitted in restaurant. I've personally been to the shop and agreed on price. They sent someone to measure the place who decided on his own what to give us without even telling us. When they came to fit he was putting the blame on us for not consulting him!!! It's a business premises so we had to get it fitted. Next comes the fitting which is terrible with bumps all over the place and we had to clean the floor because they are not bothered to do that.They gave us a date to come and fix but again standard comes to action and never bothered to turn up not tell us what's going on.
