Daniel Lowden here reviewing my first visit. Met with friends at Vic-Ryn for a men's breakfast a few months ago. Was absolutely appalled by the lack of manners and friendliness of the counter staff, and by the extortionate prices (£12 for a mini breakfast). The chap who served our table and the Polish lady who also served were the only ones who were pleasant. Enjoyed the time with my friends, but not the service. A very poor Christian testimony. This was my first visit, and probably the last.

Having been to this establishment lots of times im starting to find it hit and miss.Firstly their pricing has rocketed,yes we understand the country is in the same boat but here is slightly more.Secondly,i have found if you don't get in at a certain time then your food will be placed into the microwave before serving.And lastly.some of the staff have become very stand offish.All in all nothing to write home about.

Here is one of our very favourite places to have lunch. A restaurant that we have been using for a good few years. The food is always tasty, hot and made on site. The staff are excellent and always ready for a chat and a big of banter. Coming up to the Christmas period, they do an excellent Christmas lunch and well priced for what you get. After a great lunch, take a walk around their furniture store just beside the restaurant and have a chat with Keiran. He will go out of his way to help you to choose that nice piece of furniture you need for your home. Free parking with very easy access to the restaurant. All areas are easy access for wheelchair users. Highly recommend VicRyn....

Been to house of vic ryn many times over the years but this time it was very disappointing.Panini of the month was nothing more than a sub roll with scorch marks on the top- bbq brisket filling was cold - with a lump of pineapple just set on top. Certainly not worth £11.Loaded fries were ok, small portion and again just not worth the money. All in all £29 for a lunch for 2!!Lady on floor organising the tables was lovely, very pleasant which made up for the cashier guy- when I was surprised that he said I would have to wait 15 mins for food ( it wasn’t busy!) he said ‘well when i go out to a restaurant I expect to wait at least 30 mins for food’ maybe a little rude I think!

Very friendly staff and mum mum thinks the strawberry pavlova is the best about! I go frequently with my little boy and mum and I couldn't recommend it enough for a lovely lunch

Met a friend for a catch up the food was ok but i don't like that your food is microwaved to heat. Quite expensive too.

The food here is first class. Staff are very friendly. I can't recommend this place enough. Also recently ordered their pavlova for a birthday, WOW. Amazing

Ordered a chicken wraps and scones for takeaway. It taste delicious and i would say far better than popular coffee shop chains.Update:20.10.2021. Please try their breakfast waffle, its really good.
