Fantastic! So many helpful hints and tips provided and some very handy ways to train my Bailey with non verbal commands which has helped retain my own sanity. I was given advice on everything, even down to food choices. I feel reassured and motivated. Everything is done in a positive and rewarding manner. I would definitely recommend.

We were recommended to Gentle Paws and it’s is honestly the best thing that has happened to us. We have a 4 month old Golden retriever that Sharon has helped work wonders with. I’ve attended two of Sharron’s workshops. I attended the lead walking and recall session with my year old dog and he came on leaps and bounds. After an attack by another dog, my dog became defensive on lead so I attended the reactive lead walking workshop. He went from not being able to tolerate any dogs near him to now being able to be off lead on a beach full of dogs! His progress has been amazing thanks to Sharron. I would recommend to anyone struggling with their dog or even just to have fun and build the relationship with your dog. Thank you Sharron!

I adopted Lola from Many Tears Rescue last October and boy did I need help. She was the most traumatised dog we have ever taken on and this was pure fear and full on fight flight or bite behaviour. She would wee and mess herself if cornered and approached and had bitten her first adopter which is why she ended up back in rescue. I thought I was fairly experienced but this was a challenge I was going to need help with. Sharron has a wealth of experience of scared dogs not only from her own pack but also from her many hours spent coaching and consulting with people like myself who get a bit lost along the good intentioned way and need a steadying hand and a kind but firm and knowledgeable word to get back on track. Sharron taught me many tips and tricks to work with Lola and helped me to focus on the things we could use to build our relationship such as her love of food. The things she tells me always make sense and always always work given time and patience. She is a magician no less and I am amazed at how she knows exactly what to do and say in any given moment or situation. The most profound moment in her guidance came at time when I was losing hope of reaching Lola and taking her continuing avoidance of any contact much too personally...Sharron somehow managed to help me see myself through Lola's eyes and it was an aha" moment which was a definite turning point in our journey. Things are now so much better with Lola and I really don't think I could have done it without Sharrons input

We fostered Savannah (French Bulldog) last November and fell in love with her and adopted her. She had issues with other dogs but is a diamond with people. We went to a behaviour class and were taught how to distract her attention and reward her. It has made it a lot easier to take her out for her walks although she still has some issues she is getting there. Sharron was very professional and talked us through it all making us aware of our mistakes and pointing us in a forward direction. Can highly recommend Gentle Paws

Our experience of dog training and puppy playtime events with Sharron at Gentle Paws have been a very positive one...the rural setting is wonderful and Sharron has a wealth of knowledge of puppies, rescue dogs and difficult dogs with all kind of behavioural issues! Sharron was brilliant with my dog. He is a rescue and was extremely reactive to other dogs/motorbikes/cyclists/runners/birds/cars- pretty much everything that moved. I was getting so stressed but we went to see Sharron and she gave us some techniques to help and within weeks he was so much better. It’s improved both his and my confidence. He is now a joy to go on walks and days out with and he’s even got a few doggy friends which was unimaginable when I first got him. Can’t thank Sharron enough.

Having taken our Puppy, a Border Collie, Milo for training at Gental Paws. We can honestly say that it was a huge benefit and help, to get our puppy to listen and react to us. The classes were great, informative and Milo responded extremely well to the training. Sharon helps you understand why and how the methods work, from your puppy/dogs point of view. Which in turn helped us understand a lot better. We now have a puppy who can sit, lay, leave, and and come at our request. On top of all the other training we did along side this. Will definitely be a returning customer with Milo for his next stage of progression.Have already recommended to other owners we’ve met on walks.
