Stray Cafe
Lovely little cafe. Only had a coffee and sat outside. So, can't rate the food or the atmosphere :-) Dog friendly. Very close to the beach.

Friendly staff, quick service even with a lead wait for food. Coffee and tea were fantastic. Prices are exceptional. English breakfast was perfection. Will definitely be eating here again in the future.

Forgot to say, the staff here are all fabulous. It's dog friendly, there are water bowls out front at the tables for your dogs. Wether you just want a coffee or tea or a cream tea, the food is excellent, lunches and brunches. From a cheese toasties to chips and a fantastic dange of cakes and treats. You have got to give it a try. Oh you can fet a pretty decent ice cream here too

Very busy little cafe close to the path by the sea. Staff very friendly and swiftly served. Enjoyed the corned beef pie but the salad had a lot to be desired , a bit of lettuce a thin slice of tomato and a tiny bit of onion do not a salad make. Just a little more effort !!! The breakfast was also nice but the sausage had never seen a pig or a cow in it's life. Don't let that put you off though . A very pleasant stop off for a cuppa and snack.

Loads of choice and very good service. Set pretty much on the beach, this is a great place for a stop off. Breakfast, lunch, afternoon cake, you name it they do it. You can sit inside or out although dogs aren't allowed inside. Plenty of roadside parking.

I’m being generous at a 3 for service waited 30 minutes for a vegetarian breakfast, Id even drank my black coffee in this time so had no drink to go with breakfast unless I was to order another, which I didn’t want to do… anyway friendly staff can’t complain about that looks clean great views but the breakfast was just swimming with grease, bit into my hash brown and I nearly spat it back out was just like I’d drank cooking oil, eggs are nice, toast was very pale also cold, beans was microwaved but still freezing, the fried bread very soggy, mushrooms deep fried swimming in grease again, tomatoes are standard tinned can’t go wrong maybe they was having an off day but I don’t think I’ll be returning.

We had a lovely walk along Redcar seafront ending on the dunes, we walked back to the stray cafe and enjoyed a lovely coffee sat outside enjoying the lovely may day. The staff were friendly and courteous, the coffee was delicious to.

A great place to meet when they are open and a local landmark to use as a running training aid. Friends and me tend to visit on Sunday mornings before 11AM and food 'Service' - in particular - struggles as the place is full by then in summer.Seats inside and also dog friendly outside under the extended roof along two sides are an option on a sunny day.

We had a lovely lunch, we had the quiche which was really nice and the jumbo breakfast. Piping hot and very tasty, great quick service. Would definitely recommend after a dog walk on the beach and even doggy ice cream
