Alex and the team have done a great job on the refurb of the steel in my Trusteel MK2 3-bed detached property. The whole process was impressive, from the e-mail enquiry, through the inspection ( which was when I really decided this was a sound outfit) to the actual remedial work taking place. All was fully explained and demonstrated, the work was done considerately, tidily and politely, and the cost was reasonable.I would recommend this outfit to anyone .

TL;DR: Fully recommend Alex and his team for steel framed house repairs.Very happy with the inspection and subsequent repairs carried out on my Trusteel MkII bungalow. Alex communicated brilliantly through the whole process, so I always knew what to expect. He and his team were punctual, reliable, polite and friendly, and left the site tidy and clear every day and at the end of the works. Everything you could ask for, really. As a consultant chartered building surveyor I've worked with Steel Frame Repairs for numberous clients over the years. I rate them for their reliability, technical knowledge, and as experts in many types of non-traditional house repairs, and other structural repairs so that I can issue Certifcates of Strucutral Adequacy for mortgagors. We've also completed complex structural stabilising of stone built houses and even repaired a bridge together!

He then explained what was scheduled to take place for the day ahead and he would keep in regular contact throughout the work.I was very pleased with the overall standard of the work completed, Alex even carried out some additional minor work that wasn’t in the planned scope of work at no extra cost.Upon leaving the job, everything was clean and tidy. Alex and his team surveyed and repaired the steel frame of my bungalow shortly after my purchase. They were extremely polite and professional and when the job was finished they left my property clean and tidy. They were always here on time and wasted no time to get the work completed within their quoted time period. I would not hesitate to recommend them and the estate agent that I purchased my house through, will also do so as there are many steel framed properties in my area.

Alex and his team carried out refurbishment of the stanchion feet of our steel frame Trusteel Mk II bungalow in July 2022. The whole team were thorough, polite and very professional during the 3-day project (in the middle of a heatwave no less-absolute heroes!). As part of the job the work was thoroughly checked by a chartered engineer which has given us a lot of peace of mind. A very complicated situation due to all parties being remote from the work site went as smooth as you could ever hope for.
