Alfa Shotokan Karate Club

My daughter goes to this Dojo. Both Sensei are very good, giving attention to every student in the class. With students of every age group attending the class, becomes a nice experience for the young kids. Learning karate with people of mixed age groups and some working professionals coming after their job is a good example for my daughter to learn this as a way of life.

My son recently joined the club last November and he has enjoyed it a-lot, he feels more confident and has learned a-lot and developed his body as well his swiftness I really recommend this club for all . The sensei are professional and with friendly atmosphere however the only disadvantage is that the payment is per month not per lesson which is unfair sometimes and inconvenient.

My daughter has been student of this Karate club for more than two years. She enjoys Karate and it's been great learning experience. Syed is very disciplined and passionate about his work. He is very focused and gives personal attention to each of his students. During pandemic also, he always checking about student health and encouraging practising at home when the class was closed. Thanks Syed and team for teaching my daughter and lifting her confidence in Karate. She really enjoys it.

Hard working students, friendly club and positive mentality.Editing my review after recently leaving the club after moving to another country.The 4+ years I have spent at the club with both Senseis has been truly excellent.You have to be hard working, respectful and disciplined - such is the spirit of Karate, but any good Karateka will understand that you must put effort in for any of life's endeavours.Since joining the club, Sensei Syed has personally coached me to win a UK Championship, several other successful tournaments and most dear to me, my black belt.The club members, as I alluded to four years ago, are very friendly and form a great support network, driving one another forward to success. This is embedded in the spirit of the club.I am beyond grateful for what I had the opportunity to acheive at this club and it has set the foundation for my martial arts for the rest of my life.Oss

Alfa Shotokan karate club is simply amazing, I have been part of this martial arts group for over a year now and absolutely loves it - Sensei is incredible - he is great with kids, has an amazing sense of humour, inspiring personality and dedicated to each member with all his heart. No matter who you are - a kid or an adult - it is the best place for you to start your Karate journey!

My son and I have joined the club few weeks ago and I'm so happy we did. Everyone has been very welcoming and supporting from day 1. It's hard work and Sensei is very demanding but the feeling of achievement at the end of the class is most rewarding. My 7year old is always looking forward to Friday's classes. My 9 years old son and I have joined the club from September and we're having fun! Our Sensei is very professional and demanding but always taking care of everybody to do the correct movements and be focus on learning from him. Highly recommended.

Joined the club for more than a month now and I can gladly say that it's great. Being taught the discipline of this martial art by Sensei Syed has really helped with my overall well-being and combat techniques. Would certainly recommend this club to anyone who wants to learn karate.

I decided to join the club at the beginning of January, one of the best decisions I've made this 2019. Both Sensei Syed and Suzanna have been extremely supportive with my progression and flexible with my working hours. It's a joy for me to come to each lesson and getting to learn the beautiful discipline of karate. What I like the most is each lesson is different and you get to train of different things.It is a friendly and welcoming environment for anyone who loves karate.
