Percussion Play Limited

We used Talk Tubes for the exterior space of a restaurant design project in Kuwait. The tubes are beautiful contemporary elements that look super-edgy and playful at the same time. They're extremely well built and have an amazing stainless steel look. We created two pairs - one shorter of 10m distance, and one that spanned approx. 25m. It worked perfectly in both cases!

I purchased a Rainbow Trio Ensemble for a Music Garden I created at one of the libraries I oversee. I was overjoyed by their appearance and sound when they were installed. I have received many incredible comments from my patrons!!

My congregation decided to convert an outdoor space into a musically interactive area that is accessible to all. The Percussion Play website guided us in making our decisions. The staff was extremely helpful throughout the purchase process. Since my congregation is based in South Carolina, USA, the staff at Percussion Play also assisted us with the intricacies of an international order, as well as making sure we had help in navigating U.S. Customs and Border Patrol process. Everything arrived in perfect condition, and the assembly of the various pieces is minimal. If you know how to set a fence post in concrete, you already know how to do the hardest part of the installation (and if you don't have that knowledge, the instruments come with instructions). Our Sound Garden has been a delight for all ages, and we hope to purchase some more instruments from Percussion Play in the coming years to expand the space. Percussion Play and its owner Robin were nothing short of amazing in their support for our project Quinterra Legacy Garden In Calgary Alberta Canada! Robin helped us choose the 16 instruments that line our musical walkway and performance stage with extreme care and was available 24/7 for prompt discussion despite the time differences with the UK. Percussion Play Limited saved the day as a very easy, professional company to work with when we hoped to add interactive musical instruments to our hospital's very own DinoSoar Garden. I had to get quotes several times to submit to the donors, and Daniel Fry was very quick with his responses. He also provided me with experienced info on what would work best. I sent photos of the space and was provided photos back of how the instruments would best look in place. Once all choices were made, payment from the US was very easy. I was given very precise information on the proper installation of each piece of equipment - very easily attained from the website - and those diagrams were given to our contract installers. We have had zero issues with the quality of the equipment. I was kept aware of the tracking every step of the way. We also added engraving for the donor on one piece of equipment and it came out beautifully. The sound of all of the pieces we chose are just as state, but I think the Samba Drums were better than expected. We purchased several Percussion Play instruments to place in our pocket park on our downtown square. We have two free chimes, a cadenza, a babel drum, and the Cajun drum circle. They are placed in a park in which there is a splash pad, a pavilion for live entertainment, a bike share rental system, and plenty of seating. Kids and adults alike have enjoyed playing the instruments! The kids bounce back and forth between playing in the water and playing the instruments. Some musicians have played the instruments after their performances and noted how nice they are, so they appeal to professional musicians as well as the kids. They are a great addition to the space and have brought lots of music and joy to the space.

After we decided to add musical instruments to our new adventure park, The Woodlands, I began researching what instruments to add and where to buy them. Percussion Play had a nice selection that appeared to be well made. The pricing was competitive with all I found and even a couple of thousand dollars less than a company I researched in the US with comparable instruments in an ensemble. The Talk Tubes and the Capella, with color coded keys and a songbook, were added attractions for us since we hadn’t seen them at other companies. (The Capella has turned out to be the most played instrument we ordered.) We have been pleased with the quality, service and shipping speed. I highly recommend this company.
