Great to find the parts I needed and the quick service and shipping. I got my replacement parts much faster than I expected, exactly what I needed to repair my Lewmar mainsheet traveler. We are back under way! Thank you!

I ordered a compass and got it at home within days. Staff was quick to respond to an initial misunderstanding about availability. Good communication by their marketing people made all the difference.

I run a boat renovation business in Dublin. Recently ordered two Lewmar hatches and unfortunately I have to return them as I ordered the wrong type. Ever since I first phoned them prior to placing an order, to the phone call asking about how I can return the purchase, they have been nothing but helpful, kind and positive. Very warm reception from the two ladies I have spoken to, nothing was too much trouble. Really good customer service and for me this is what matters most when I am purchasing goods, not the £10 you might save by spending hours online finding the cheapest website. Will certainly be a returning customer going forward. David

Poped in this afternoon with a small problem I had onboard. Female member of staff served me ( I didn't get her name ) very attentive and showed me numerous options for my issue. Hopefully problem solved.

I have just taken delivery of a second hand sail from Ocean Chandlery (Sea Teach).Yesterday afternoon I found the right size sail for our boat on their website, telephoned and spoke with a very helpful and friendly member of staff. He promised to ring me back , within half an hour, once he had had a chance to check the sail over. He duly did, assured me that the sail was in good condition and I paid for it. I received the sail, as promised, in under twenty four hours. I would like to thank them, publicly, for their wonderful and good value service.

This store doesn't look very large, but it has advantages over other stores I've visited. They sell individual fixings (eg:nuts, bolts, screws, split pins, this list goes on, there's maybe four hundred trays you can search through, yes, you can search for yourself). There is a large collection of ropes, deck & rigging, running gear, and what you can't see (such as tubing) ask for, it's kept upstairs. They do repair kits for GRP, both fibreglass and branded epoxy type, mixing tools, gel coat repair kits, small carbon fibre repair kits, a average selection of paints, antifouling paints, wood preserve, paint remover etc, and I imagine they have more if you asked. They sell and service life jackets and boyancy aids, as well as having shoes also upstairs, so I wonder what is up there. Sadly it appears to be an area that the public can't access, maybe without special permission or for h&s rules, I don't know. Now, having emphasisd there is stuff upstairs, I will now say that visually, at least on the shop floor, there is very little electonical gadgetry, eg:radios, GPS, electronic plotters and the like. So before you dismiss this store based on my assumption, do please phone or email them. They do sell charts for manual plotting, which is ideal, and a small selection of books. They sell a selection of electrical items such as isolation switch, crimp connectors, wire, terminal blocks, what you might call 'essential for a quick repair items'. They sell nav lights, digital watches, some clothing, boat fixings such as seacock fixings, both metal and (I'll say plastic but it's high quality sturdier, fit for purpose) non metal products, bilge pumps, anchors, and ice no idea what's upstairs! The staff are more than happy to help you out, and not afraid to ask another staff member if they are themselves unsure. The manager is very knowledgeable, and it feels like each member of staff has their own strengths. The store doesn't have wide aisles, but they are adhering to social distancing really well. There is parking outside and a low threshold, so for the physically disabled it may be difficult, but not impossible to navigate within the store.Prices seem to fall in line with other stores that sell similar items and with online sites, again, some items are a little more than others and vice versa, the advantage I find with this store, and why I use it more than my more local one, is that I can buy items individually, from a single fuse to a single washer, that's a bonus for me, and I do spend both time browsing and purchasing.I'm still getting used to the place, so I'm sure I've missed out lots of positives, and would appreciate feedback from the manager and staff to improve this review, maybe then I can edit it to be more accurate. If there was a con to this place its the lack of electronic items on display, eg:GPS, radios, plotters as I've previously mentioned, but I'm sure they can source items, but for that small downside, they do make up for it in other ways.

Friendly and helpful staff, who know what they are talking about. Good range of stock, and importantly you can buy screws and bolts etc loose, not in those horrid blister packs where you buy five when you want two!

So nice to receive excellent customer service, even when technically not a customer! Successfully fulfilled a warranty claim in a professional and timely manner, corresponding in real time with the manufacturer. Much appreciated!
