I thoroughly enjoyed attending the 1 day SSA Sake Introduction Course - a whole day of interesting lectures, a delicious 2 course meal and a unique and varied selection of sake to taste, with friendly students and a fantastic tutor - really a perfect day! Sarah has a wealth of knowledge for sake, and her passion and expertise made the day really enjoyable. I finished the day having learned so much, and I would definitely recommend this course. Looking forward to learning more with West London Wine School!

Super impressed with the Sake class on the Gohyakumangoku “queen of sake” varietal. Sarah was extremely knowledgeable and there were so many fascinating insights during the tasting about the sake brewers of each region. Enjoyed the different sakes chosen for the tasting and they paired well with the cheese board too. Would highly recommend joining this sake class if you’re looking to learn more about sake.

I took my level 2 WSET course at The West London Wine School, it was fantastic! Jess was a brilliant tutor, she was knowledgeable, professional and personable. I loved every minute of it, it was great fun!The course content was so well laid out with a workbook and an accompanying more detailed book. I would thoroughly recommend this course to someone with a little background knowledge in wine who wants to further their interest in more detail.

I thoroughly enjoyed the Introduction to sake tasting class. I was studying the WSET level 1 in sake at the time online and this was such a help with understanding the different types of sake. Sarah is incredibly knowledgable and passionate about sake and as a result I have been inspired to become a member of the BSA and book more courses to expand my own knowledge. Highly recommended.

SPANSIH WINE SCHOLARJust completed this superb course. Very impressed with the Wine Scholar Guild country specific course and online content to back up the class experience. I was waiting and looking forward to the launch of the new Spanish wine program. I was also new to the West London Wine School and needed to travel from Cambridge, but it was worth it. The course was presented by Jimmy and he was outstanding in delivering with passion and enthusiasm the course content, the wonderful and extensive range of wonderful wines to taste, accompanied by different Spanish cheeses, cold meats, paella, padron peppers, etc. to match each region. I also learned a lot and was well prepared for the exam this week. I will sign up for further Wine Scholar courses, led by Jimmy at the West London Wine School, starting with France next year and then Italy. If you are interested, like or love wine you will enjoy one of Jimmy's courses. You will not be disappointed. I highly recommend.

An amazing school, one of the most in depth and also easy to understand I have yet to find. They also do amazing tastings of popular and unheard of wines alike. I highly recommend, Jimmy is an amazing teacher.

Wow what a lovely experience. Outstanding delivery for Alex, very informal, fun and non pretentious. She made us feel comfortable and she had great knowledge. A great presentation, a range of interesting wines and lovely nibbles. Definitely challenged my wine rut! As a family we had such a good evening. I was dubious at first but really worth the money and experience - thank you to the team.
