The team at Roberts and Roberts has undertaken valuation and survey work for me on several occasions and i have always found their service to be first class. They are prompt and professional.

We used Roberts and Roberts to do a survey on a house we were looking to buy that seemed to have a few problems. The survey was completed in record time, very professionally presented and highlighted the areas that either needed further attention or may need work in the future. Very impressed by the whole service and would recommend them to anyone buying a house who has the slightest concern about any aspect of the property.

Phil Cooke does all our commercial valuations and is very accommodating and speedy in completing his reports. He knows my area very well so you know you have the right company for the job!

The experience my business partner and I had with Roberts and Roberts to say the least was pretty rubbish.The way this estate agents deals with communication is absolutely abysmal and I genuinely don't know how they operate as a branch.They wasted 5 months of our time with a commercial property we were looking to rent that they had listed and felt messed around from start to finish.You will end up having to do all the phone calls and emailing, with staff not knowing what's going on, passed on from person to person to even having to speak to the person who you met in person for the initial viewing forgetting" who you are.I highly recommend going to another estate agent or if you wish to proceed with your requests

The communication was poor and I was not initially informed of the date of the survey. When I called to query this I was told by the surveyor that bookings and communication are not his responsibility.The survey was done within a reasonable time frame, and the report delivered within the timelines. I asked to speak with the surveyor as had a couple of questions about the survey. He said he would call me back and never did. I would go somewhere else if you want better customer service!

Trustworthy and honest firm. I'd recommend it for property surveys.

Valued a house at 210k that sold 6 months later for 300k to someone else (with no extra work) and cost us the property/mortgage at asking price 256k as the bank wouldn’t lend to us at 210 valuation. Cancelled the appointment twice with 30 minutes notice to do the valuation. Avoid. Avoid. Avoid

I'm giving my first ever 1 star to Roberts & Roberts and I think that's pretty fair as I would say the communication was pretty good and they worked quite quickly too. However, my issue is that the report I was given on my house was incredibly vague resulting in me thinking it's fine. I've unknowingly walked into buying a property and have spent thousands of pounds trying to rectify problems within this house that were not mentioned on the report or if they were, they were vague and not much info was given.Knowing what I know now, I would have gone with another company for my survey and with real in-depth inspecting on this property, I would have walked away from it and looked at buying a house else where. I'm incredibly frustrated and incredibly broke as a result of the vagueness this company has given me.

Incredible team, great report and fantastic customer service. John Shackleton supported us with a home owners lvl 2 survey. Not only was the price competitve, but the report went above and beyond. Furthermore, John took a number of calls to help explain sections of the report which we had questions on. Really great work, thank you for you help!
