Capital Carriers

No tracking updates at all, no email or online tracking. Email address unreachable, only open until 4pm? So can't call after work. No delivery window or anything remotely useful.

I dont want to criticise the drivers as they can only deliver what's available for them to deliver. Once my parcel is out for delivery" I've had no issues at all.Whenever I find out something I have bought is being shipped via hermes and capital carriers I always try and cancel the order or get a refund.It's truly beyond belief how a company with a reputation as bad as hermes could think the service provided here is acceptable ."

USELESS!!28th March 2019Parcel due for delivery before midday! - No sign!Then got a call to say it would arrive before 9pm, which I was surprised to hear!! Again, no sign!Next morning doorbell and banging on the door before 7am! I have a baby and two toddlers, so I rushed across the hall to try and open the door to stop the noise. I opened the door and the driver was driving away and didn’t stop, all within 40 - max 50seconds!Note through the door with zero information other than I missed the delivery.Called the office and they told me they don’t redeliver on the same day as a missed delivery and I need to collect my parcel from their office after 4:30pm or arrange for a redelivery in 2-3days!I will be reporting this service to Amazon and judging by the reviews before me, there is clearly a serious issue with this company which should be looked into!I will never willingly use them!

Tried phoning, answer machine suggested emailing, still no reply.Trying to locate my parcel, or get an update on it. It was subcontracted to Capital Carriers from DX. So frustrating, why are couriers so dissapointing?????

Asked them to contact their driver to get a parcel back whilst it was out for delivery so I could collect from their depot in Inverness as this was actually easier than collecting from the delivery address for me. Didn't expect they would help based on reviews and my general experience of couriers but they took my details, called their driver, got him to return my parcel to the depot then called me to let me know it was ready to collect! Never had a courier be that helpful especially considering this was above and beyond their job. Nice one Capital

Subcontractor for Hermes in Northern Highlands. Utterly useless company. If they deliver at all, they are incredibly slow (10 days is common). Parcels left on ground outside gate, proof of delivery photo taken through the (cracked to the point of being un-roadworthy) windscreen of vehicle, with no parcel visible). Multiple parcels missing. I really don't understand how they are still in business, avoid if you can!

Shona and Stephen have been working silly amounts of time each day for about 2 months. They are delivering to the Dornoch area with cheery smiles and a calm professional manner. Thanks guys. Keep up the good work. Enjoy the peace when normality returns.

Cannot get through to them on the phone. Hermes parcel delivery has been a nightmare to the West Coast of the Highlands for a long time now. Many people in neighbouring villages to me currently have the same problem - parcels are either in a processing hub, or with local courier....but have been missing for 2 to 5 weeks, some longer!! And you can't speak to anyone centrally at Hermes, or with this Carrier in Inverness to try and find out what's happening. Terrible service!
