Lovely walk around the woodland and Loe Pool this morning. The American Surf Scoter still here too!! Bit muddy underfoot until you reach the concrete path tho.

Not a lot to get excited about a car park. However it was free to park. Not too big however, probably as it is well located at the start of a good walk .

Not really free, as an honesty box asks you to make a donation. Lovely walks in shade round to Looe Bar. Cafe open as well 500 yd walk.

Very busy car park as it is popular with dog walkers and part of a great network of footpaths

It's quite a small car park for a popular place, often visited and found it full so be aware that you need to get there early.

One of my favourite walks starts at Penrose national trust car park and follows loe pool towards the coast and eventually into porthleven. The walk includes beautiful woodland scenery and stunning coastal views.

My favourite local woods. Has beach, sand bar, lake, and beautiful woodlands. Many exotic and interesting trees species, lots of wild flowers and plant diversity . It's full of different birds and is perfect for dog walks too!
