Great customer service. I used the store for my wedding suits. I had 5 best men and sorted 2 more for our Dad’s so 7 in total. Quick turn around on the suits from first fittings to picking them up.John the manager was a gent, sharing great knowledge and being very attentive when trying my suit on especially at the aleration stages.For the shirts my plan was to go elsewhere however I ended up reverting back to Gemma and Lizzie who measured us up and got the shirts all ordered. Again very attentive and nothing was too much hassle. Wouldn’t bother trying to cut corners on getting cheaper shirts elsewhere because they quality was rubbish and you don’t save that much anyway!I don’t plan on getting married again however from now on I will be attending Slaters and this store in particular. The store has a huge selection and the staff put me at ease at a very stressful time.Thanks to all the staff particularly John and Gemma.

I came in because I needed measurements for a Merchant Navy uniform. I offered a tip for their time as I wasn't buying anything but the refused the money and were happy to help.It says a lot about a company where the staff are welcoming and happy to go out of their way to help. A special thanks to Charlie!Definitely a go-to store for the future :)

It was my first time getting a suit from here and Dominic one of the supervisors in there sorted me out from top to bottom, couldn't have asked for more help, even helped me pick out colours and a pocket square.Couldn't have been a more comfortable experience, I was well catered for in every aspect.

What an excellent experience. The service was fantastic free alterations. Every thing you need on site i got the full outfit suit (3 piece) shirt , tie and shoes couldn't have been more helpful. Thanks guys

Great store. Good value quality clothing and first rate service. I visited the store recently needing fast alterations to a dinner suit I purchased a while ago. The staff were so helpful and were able to arrange the alterations in good time. Slaters offer online shopping but the in store personal service really gives them the edge. Thanks again.

Regrettably, I feel compelled to share some feedback about an experience I had during my last visit on a weekday.While I was browsing the sale section for an appropriate suit for an upcoming event, I overheard one of your employees questioning my interest in the discounted items. This experience was both surprising and disconcerting, as I believe the purpose of a sale is to encourage customers to explore and purchase these products.Furthermore, the atmosphere created by the staff on that particular day was less than welcoming. The lack of friendliness and the pervasive air of discontent among the employees were palpable, contributing to a rather uncomfortable shopping experience. I also felt an unnerving sense of being constantly watched as I examined various suits, which detracted from the otherwise high standards of customer service I have come to expect at Slater Menswear.I must acknowledge, however, that I was later approached by an attentive staff member who provided excellent service and assisted me in making my selection. While I was grateful for his help, I would have preferred a more relaxed approach, offering assistance when needed rather than constant surveillance.Despite these issues, I completed my visit with a significant purchase, which speaks to the continued quality of your merchandise. Nevertheless, I believe there is an opportunity for Slater Menswear to enhance the customer service experience to match the high quality of your products. Amazing customer service from Gemma in the shirt department. She was very knowledgeable and went out of her way to ensure i got everything i needed. The staff throughout the store were very helpful and i would recommend a visit. In the end the best fit was Slaters own brand shirt, and i am very pleased with mt purchases.
