Without PrejudiceAvoid at all costs! We decided to get solar. Everything sounded great, until installation (which was completed early May 2022). I could write war and peace on this, but will try and keep it short and cover some of the many issues. Our electrician has said he wouldn’t sign off on the system due to numerous problems on the electrical side. We have paid him to correct some of these issues. Energy Home have never given us a Part P certificate for the electrical works. I don’t know if the person who did the electrical works was a ‘competent electrician’ (Part P registered) or not.We have been chasing for our MCS certificate which MCS have advised must be issued within 10 days of commissioning. We have been promised we will get one numerous times in writing. It is now nearly 3 months since the installation. We were promised someone would come to resolve issues with the bird netting on 22nd June. Nobody turned up, and nobody had the decency to tell us they weren’t even coming. We were told by one of the MD’s that he would come on the 15th/16th July to resolve bird netting issue and to deliver the MCS certificate. Again, this never happened, and again they didn’t even have the courtesy to tell us they weren’t bothering yet again. On 30th July I rang MCS to check if this company is even MCS registered. Energy Home are NOT, despite the misleading website mentioning they only work with MCS competent people, and despite the constant promises that we will get this. MCS advised me they have had numerous calls from people asking the same question regarding Energy Home, so it would seem this is not a one-off. I suspect Energy Home have got away with it in a lot of cases as many people don’t even know what it is or what it’s used for.Energy Home have never completed the G98 paperwork to notify our DNO about the system. This is absolutely necessary, and a legal requirement. It doesn’t require membership of any governing body, so there is no reason for this to not have been done. Again, I suspect Energy Home have been getting away with this as the majority of people don’t know the importance of this. All in all I’d say don’t walk away, run. As fast as you can, and don’t look back. Energy Home is the nightmare I wouldn’t wish on anyone.

One of Lee furneaux many scam companies. He’s a bully, liar, cheat, scammer and a low life piece of scum.Installed a system on our property. His staff were lazy, incompetent, late, no shows.Destroyed our roof and above all installed a dangerous un certified solar system. When we wouldn’t pay the last part of the invoice showed up with 10 men and removed it by force-I had him removed by the police.I have now done a section 75 on my credit card and had the money I paid taken from lees bank account.. you’re not the only one who can do things by force furneaux and I am not finished with you yet.We have reported them to various official bodies including trading standards.Stay away from this company and his new scam company EHBL.

Energy Home UK sent me an E-mail advert which appeared to be in breach of the UK Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations 2003 section 22. It is illegal to send electronic adverts to people who are not your customers and have not opted in to receive advertsI sent them a SAR (Subject Access Request) asking what personal details they held on me, and where they got those details from. No response after 40 days, which again breaks the law.Formal complaints have been submitted to the Information Commissioner's Office.Update: The ICO have confirmed that Energy Home UK are in breach of the regulations by not responding to the SAR. That's now at least two laws they appear to have broken.Do you really want to do business with a home improvement company that ignores regulations?

If it were possible to leave no stars I would. Avoid this company and any company with Lee Furneaux involved (Energy Home or Energy Home Business Limited). He has scammed many people out of their money by miss-selling products, terrible or not-complete installations and property damage. Lee is not MCS certified and none of your installation will be certified, let alone fit for purpose. AVOID!!!
