New dawn pottery
My husband booked me onto a wheel throwing class as a birthday gift & I had a great time. It is tricky but very enjoyable, our teacher was lovely, patient and helped us to produce some cute little pots. I am considering going back for another class & would definitely recommend.

The taster course was good value for money and I enjoyed learning from Filipa. She is incredible at pottery and provided clear and direct feedback on my technique. It was tricky for me but she was really patient and encouraging, as I found it hard to remember all the techniques.The length of the session was sufficient to observe Filipa demoing, trying to throw as many as we can ourselves and choosing colours for the one we want to glaze. Her studio was really cool with vases and pots everywhere, all so beautiful. I'd definitely love to do a course! Highly recommend the experience, thoroughly enjoyed learning a new skill!

Filipas class was brilliant. A great wedding anniversary present. She gave a great demonstration and then let’s your practice making a few pots. She provides lots of support if you need it. Would highly Recommend. We look forward to collecting our pots soon.

I recently had the pleasure of attending classes at New Dawn Pottery, and I must say, it was an outstanding experience. Philippa, the tutor, is truly exceptional. Her expertise and passion for pottery are evident in every session. She patiently guided me through various techniques, helping me create beautiful pieces I never thought possible. Philippa's teaching style is not only informative but also incredibly inspiring and fun. I couldn't have asked for a better instructor. New Dawn Pottery is a gem, and Philippa is the shining star who makes it shine even brighter. Highly recommended! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I bought my daughter a pottery class with Filipa from New Dawn Pottery as a Christmas present and joined her. It was such a lovely experience. The studio is a lovely workspace and Filipa is so knowledgable, warm and welcoming. It was a wonderful way to spend 2 hours on a Sunday evening. I highly recommend doing a workshop with her. Her work is beautiful.

Just an incredible experience here with Filipa. It was our first time potting and she was incredibly helpful and relaxed. A lovely studio in the old mill and really fun. Would definitely recommend!

Had a brilliant time at the starter and month long wheel course at New Dawn with Filipa. Made loads of amazing pots and now consider myself a potter for life! Can't recommend highly enough.

So much fun - my friends got me this for my birthday. You learn to make pots and then get to keep and glaze your favourite. Filipa is a great teacher and we all left feeling very relaxed!
