AVOID AVOID AVOIDThis garage should be avoided at all cost. I went to view a car last week which I had seen online. The car did not match the pictures and had a big scratch on the wing mirror and the front alloy wheels were horrendously marked. On closer inspection there was a hole in the front bumper where work had been attempted but not completed safely. Took the car for a test drive and the petrol light was on and the handbrake made a horrible noise!! Not sure how I was supposed to drive that car away!! The garage agreed to rectify the issues and deliver the vehicle to me this week. By Tuesday having heard nothing the garage confirmed that they are not prepared to rectify the issues so I asked my finance company to withdraw funds which they are still waiting for. What a horrible experience I had and can now thankfully say I've purchased a much newer car without any issues - so thank you to this horrendous dealer - I dodged a massive bullet!!

I visited the garage to view a car i had seen on their website and it was as described. Ben was very helpful and we came to a deal for p/x my car. On the test drive, there were a couple of issues with the car however Ben and his team sorted these out with no question and made the car ready to drive away within a couple of days. I am very pleased with my new car and all for a great price. Would recommend purchasing a car from them based on my experience. Only had my car for 1 day but seems good so far.

I had an incredibly negative experience with this car garage when I purchased a car from them around 6 months ago. Right from the beginning, there were problems. On the day when i collect the car and completed the payment, they informed me that they didn't have the V5 document for the car and I would need to apply for it myself. This not only caused delays but also prevented me from being able to apply for road tax on the same day. To make matters worse, they took advantage of the situation and overcharged me a staggering £350 for a 6-month road tax, when the actual price should have been £99 for that period.Furthermore, the driver's handle door cap was missing and they promised to send a replacement by post. Months have passed and I still haven't received anything. Before purchasing the car, I specifically asked if it had been serviced, and they assured me that it had. However, just a few weeks later, a dashboard light indicated that the car required servicing. This cost me an additional £550, which was an unexpected expense.During this time, I had planned a holiday and needed the car. Because I didn't have the V5 document, I had to rent another vehicle, incurring additional costs. To add to my frustration, I discovered water leakage inside the car during rainy weather from windscreen. The windscreen wasn’t sealed properly. Despite notifying the garage, they failed to address this issue. Furthermore, they stopped responding to my finance company, making it even more challenging to find a resolution.Fast forward to this week, the car broke down on my way to work, emitting heavy white smoke. I suspect the turbo is gone, but I'm still waiting for confirmation from a mechanic. This situation is beyond disappointing. Now I'm left with the burden of paying for the finance and insurance on a non-functional car, while also having to bear the costs of necessary repairs.I strongly urge everyone to avoid purchasing cars from this garage. My experience has been nothing short of a nightmare, with recurring issues, poor customer service, and a complete lack of professionalism. Save yourself the trouble and search elsewhere for a reputable car dealer.I hope my review serves as a cautionary tale and prevents others from going through a similar ordeal.

Purchased a car February 22. Had an issue with it, the garage was no help and basically said your car your problem and avoided anymore contact. Unfortunately my car has been in and out of my local garage and several thousands of pounds later, I have been advised not to spend anymore money on it because the original issue has caused more damage then we had first thought. Please don't waste your hard earned money at this garage!

I bought a used car from this dealership and it is fair to say that it was most certainly used.Within an hour of driving it off the forecourt the EML came on. Dealer refused to fix it and dragged his heels -top notch customer service I would say. Then after only 3 weeks of owning the vehicle the gearbox has been grinding excessively. Dealer has offered no support. All of these issues were there prior to buying the vehicle and it is shameful that they have the front to enable the sale of this.Have certainly learnt my lesson. NEVER BUY FROM THIS DEALER. From one very unhappy customer.

Where do I start?I was after a Chevrolet Camaro SS earlier this year, and found out that Beacon Hill had one.I missed out on one at the beginning of the year at another dealer when the dealer sold it, although I had sorted the finance after a week, with minutes to spare!I rang Beacon Hill for info, and if they would reduce the advertised price, to be told it was a friend's car.I was later told that he would reduce it, so I assumed that I could get it, as I had car finance agreed previously.Unfortunately, Carfinance247, and Zuto who do American cars both said that finance was fine, but dealer was flagged up, so I could not get the finance!I then spent a week trying virtually all brokers, etc, trying to sort the finance, but they would not finance enough. This only left another option, which was I was taking my pension out in a couple of months, so I asked if Camaro seller would take a deposit until then?He agreed but I was not told that it was non-refundable, etc. When I got my pension out, I assumed it was going to be straight forward as I needed less finance, but for some reason all companies will not touch left-hand drive cars, just right-hand drive!Although the car is a UK model, everyone classes it as an import,as it is left-hand drive!?Although I paid a £1000 deposit to Beacon Hill, they never took it off of sell from day 1!It was still being sold on Auto Trader, etc, unlike my new car which was immediately taken off all platforms!!!Beacon Hill never rang/emailed me once about anything, and then said they had a buyer!?I rang and told them about all the problems, and even gave them the benefit of the doubt(even though they were flagged up!!!), yetthey now refuse to refund my £1000 deposit, saying it was non refundable!?Nothing was ever said about it not being refundable, with no receipt or contract signed either! This garage is a typical Essex Dodgy Motor" Garage
