Churchill Insurance

My mum had an accident, other person admitted liability. Churchill said they are looking through it and only got back to us regarding giving us a courtesy car, apart from that we’ve heard nothing else. It’s been two months now and we called back and they are saying they have absolutely no record of us. Do not use these guys.

I was charged £221.21 to do so.And I’ve received a threatening letter from dvla to say my car is not shown as insured. I’ve been driving without insurance from may to august!!!!!And they don’t care and told me it’s my fault and that I didn’t update them. I HAVE IT IN WRITINGTHEY ARE BIT TRUST WORTHY IN ANYWAY DO NOT TRUST THEMYOU WONT BE COVEREDIVE BEEN CUT OFF BY 2 STAFF ON WHATSAPP CHAT . They are blaming me. Refusing to listen. Refused to get a manager . Refused to tell me who the regulating body is.The most NASTY DISRESPECTFUL COMPANY ON THE PLANET!!!!!!!!!AVOID AVOIF AVOID

motor car insurance was £164 in 2023 renewal went to £262 without any changes to policy rang for some discount they offered £5 discount disgraceful they lose a good customer for £5 phone call cost as much i would have renewed for a £15-20 discount really bad company

They are not helpful one bit, they told two different things of which after 2 months they decided to accept a quote which my garage gave them. They do not care about the affected person. They are the worst insurance company which I have had to deal with. Their engineers are sleeping and do not take things seriously. Their customer service is ok, the claims team are the worst people to deal with as whenever you call them they need you to repeat the scenario again and again. They keep you on hold for over 1 hr and then if you are lucky then they might help you.I am only telling you guys what I have felt and it's my obligation to inform you guys please be aware of this and do not use these guys

Have had Household Insurance for many years with Churchill Insurance with 9 years no claims. Had a short break last week, came home Friday pm to find boiler not working, no heat or water. Rang the useless, very well known, company who provide breakdown cover for the boiler after several calls was told couldn't do anything until Monday at earliest, even though I am 75yrs old. Their cover will not be renewed.Rang Churchill who class it as an emergency and a great guy named Jacksonanswered and sorted out my problem very professionally and quickly, kept me updated on engineers arrival and problem fixed next day. Cannot praise Churchill enough, guess who will be contacted about Boiler cover.

I was with Churchill for 2 years, and they have been increasing my insurance for no reason .so i cange my insurance company had not a good experience.

Churchill insurance company is not trustworthy. They claim that if they don't like the owner of the car, they won't insure it. Why?! Because these are the rules and no one has anything to do with it.Having car insurance should be a right, not a privilege.Avoid them.

In 30 years of driving, this is the worst insurance company I have ever used. The sign of a good insurance company is not their policy price, it’s their service when you need to make a claim and Churchills service has been diabolical. 4 weeks without a car, no means of getting to work, no loan car despite being fully comprehensive. No contact from the ‘write off’ engineer for 3 weeks, an hour on hold when you call. Misinformation given throughout the ENTIRE process and it still isn’t resolved. Managers don’t call you back, I’ve called, I’ve complained, I’ve pleaded and absolutely nothing. I will never recommend or use Churchill again. Disgusting service.

I’d love to know how you justify a 120% increase in my insurance when nothing at all has changed. Absolute daylight robbery. Total crooks.I tried to discuss this over the phone with two ladies and was told on both occasions that there’s nothing they can do, and they could not work out why the quote was so high.I’ve been with Churchill for years and have until now been happy.Great customer retention practices.Disgusting.

Shocking. They’ve put a window screen repair down as an accident. (They keep trying to tell me it’s not affected my policy, but now it’s flagged as an accident when I try and do other quotes, as I had to find out on the phone to Adrian Flux). I’ve been passed around on the phone like an item at a child’s show and tell with no result, they wouldn’t get me a manager, I’ve re explained myself enough to make me go crazy. My insurance runs out after tomorrow and I can’t use any of the insurance quotes I’ve had kept since august because I have an accident claim that never happened that is being flagged. Absolutely USELESS company, why am I having to jump hoops for YOUR mistake.
