Rowan has been an excellent drum teacher for my 8-year-old-child. His patience and passion for teaching are clear in every session. My son made a great progress under Rowan's guidance, and he genuinely enjoys his drum lessons.What sets Rowan apart is his ability to adapt lessons to my son's age and skill level. He keeps the sessions engaging and encourages my son's interest in drumming. Rowan's patient approach has created a positive learning environment.I highly recommend Rowan as a drum teacher, he brings a great balance of skill, patience and passion to his teaching.

A very talented drummer and teacher. Great at breaking things down so you can understand and pick it up easily. Also makes each lesson loads of fun and I always look forward to going each week. Provides videos each week which I can take home and practice too. Can’t believe how far I have come already. Would highly recommend.

Rowan is a very encouraging and patient teacher. I've recently got back into drumming after not playing for over 20 years and I've already learnt loads from him. I'm so glad I decided to pick up my sticks again, my confidence is growing with every lesson and I'm looking forward to learning much more from him.

My son Ben started having drum lessons with Rowan at his primary school at age 8 in Year 3. His 1:1 lesson was always the highlight of his school week and he carried on learning from scratch in year 3 through to year 6.Ben went from being a complete novice to performing in assemblies, including ‘The Pretender’ by the Foo Fighters at his year 6 talent show which Rowan said was easily Secondary school standard.Both Ben and I were keen for his drumming journey to continue on after primary school so he started having a weekly lesson with Rowan privately.Three years on since starting private lessons and Ben is now in year 9 at school and has been attending a local bandjam session in addition to Rowan’s lessons which bring together children who play various instruments to form bands. His techniques and skills learnt with Rowan over the years have really shone through in these sessions, noted by their tutors.Ben is currently choosing his GCSE options and is set on taking Music as he’s confident that with the continued help and guidance from Rowan that he will gain a very good grade in this subject.We can’t thank Rowan enough for his continued expertise and passion in helping Ben with his drumming and highly recommend him to friends and family regularly.

Rowan is an exceptional teacher. My daughter only recently picked up a pair of sticks and already in only a couple of months she is playing confidently and progressing quickly under Rowan's excellent tuition.Rowan is really easy going, approachable and friendly - always able to tailor a lesson and think of different ways to teach and explain things so that they click.The lessons are a real highlight of the week and it makes the practicing in the week fun and exciting.Thanks Rowan you are a star!
