Absolutely beautiful food and the chef made a toddler sized portion of the chicken dinner for my little boy, colouring books provided for the kids. Fantastic friendly service and our meals came so quickly. Gorgeous!!

Just had a couple of days at Runswick Bay and had a beautiful meal. Great food , lovely place, nice people. Dog friendly too.Could not recommend higher.Thank you for your hospitality. We will be back

Landlord/landlady lovely people really try to make you welcome. Waitress was quite abrupt to the point of being rude . Meals just pub meals nothing special. All in all, a very nice pub ,

We ate here twice, owners and staff all very welcoming, lovely atmosphere and a mix of holidaymakers (like us) &locals. Food was fantastic and reasonably priced. We will definitely be back next year. We were camping so can't rate the accommodation.

We hadn't booked a table Friday when we arrived. But a kind lady offered us her table when she'd finished her meal. We waited at the bar drinking and getting to know the landlord. He and landlady were very helpful and a good laugh too. We had a gorgeous meal Friday and a absolutely beautiful Sunday lunch. The best meals we'd eaten all the weekend by far.Even our dog had some food too. A very welcoming place and a lovely couple. Thankyou we will be back ❤️

Meal quality of food, gorgeous. The metal brush bristle on the plate not so gorgeous! If it had been in amongst the food I may hav eaten it, not good for intestines I'm guessing.Sent it with the waitress to the chef expecting some sort of apology / explanation..... none came....I wasn't after a reduction of the bill, just recognition that this isn't a great experience & an apology. None came.Another minor fault, the waitress asked me if I'd finished whilst I was clearly still chewing, not polite or professional! Felt like a fast food joint!

Went for 1 pint today which turned into 5 as it was very comfortable and was greeted with thissmile. Very welcoming and a very good pint too. Toilets were spotless, if your here would highly recommend popping in for a drink.

Everybody else in my group had pizza, but I had the gammon! Huge portions, and absolutely gorgeous food. Coming from the Midlands I've noticed the food and portions are brilliant all around this neck of the woods. Great service and friendly people.

The food here is exceptional, the portions are huge and everything is very well priced. It's really worth the trip.
