Decent pub grub. Three regular coffees, a beyond burger, chip's, dip and onion rings, under £20. Definitely worth the money. The two adults and five kids I went with all enjoyed and finished their meals. Staff friendly and attentive, great service. Would recommend.

Further update Mike the General Manger has now made contact, and he has generously offered a main meal for two on the house. I won't be taking up him on his offer, he has also assured me that the relevant training has been given to the staff concerned.Update, the general manager asked me to make contact via email, I did this and suprise suprise a week later I have had no response !!! Shameful really !Firstly the front of house staff are super friendly and attentive without being overly so. Drinks Service from ordering via app was spot on and we got what we ordered exactly. The food service came out some 20 mins later considering that we had arrived at around 5.45pm was about right. My wife had ordered the Steak and Ale Pie which for us when we eat in a Greene King pub is our go to dish as it's always really nice and tasty. And according to my wife it was good. However I fancied a burger and ordered one from the Stack menu, I really should have gone with the Pie ! This burger was a huge disappointment and a total waste of money, now I am a type 1 Diabetic and I had already given myself my two Insulin shots that I take in the evening and as this was a Carb loaded meal I had given myself extra rapid acting insulin to cover off this meal. So I had to eat what I could and wow it was bad stone cold and partly cooked onion rings over cooked and dry and completely tasteless Beef Patties and chips that looked like they had been scraped from the bottom of the fryer. As I said I ate what I could as I had too. However I left a decent amount on the plate, and when our server returned she asked if everything was ok, no was my reply I explained all of the above, and the response to this was oh I am really sorry would you like a drink on the house ?? No was my reply, at no point did she offer to put right my woeful food and took my plate away. Now to be fair when she came back to take my wife's thoroughly enjoyed Pie plate away, she did apologize again, however again at no point did she offer to make right my half left meal. So will we visit a Greene King again ? Yes because we will stick to what we know, would we revisit this particular Greene King pub...... It's a resounding no from me, shame really as it's a nice pub.

Went here for the first time yesterday. We had booked a table but the table / seats were very uncomfortable and the table was quite low so we asked to switch tables and got moved to a very comfy sofa / chair area. The pub itself is quite spacious with outdoor seating and loads of indoor seating as well. The menu consists of many offers each day and the food was very nice. We had burgers and the chicken burger was extremely crispy. The interior is very beautiful and the staff was also very kind and friendly. We did order a coke and got served Dr Pepper though, however that’s just a minor issue. Overall I can only recommend going to this pub for a drink or a meal.

Came here on Friday Monday evening to try out the steak deal and was definitely worth it! Steak was cooked to perfection! Staff were friendly and made us feel welcome. Desserts are gorgeous!! Definitely recommend the biscoff cheesecake! Will be back very soon! Thank you for a lovely visit!

Called in fir a late lunch at about 4pm. The pub was quiet and there were plenty of tables available. The staff were friendly and attentive, the food was hot and excellent. Not our first visit and won't be the last.

First time we've been, went for birthday meal with family. Food was excellent as we're all the staff who made us feel welcome and nothing was too much trouble for them. A very enjoyable evening.

First time visiting in a fair few years. Had some time to pass while being off work. Got the Rump. Really good cut of beef! Paid a lot more at other venues which weren't of this quality! Cooked exactly as requested. Generic chips, peas, half a tomato. Comes on a skillet of fried onions which were cooked nicely. The peppercorn sauce was pleasant.... Was just missing some fried mushrooms for me!Venue was quiet at the time, but clean. Barmaid/waitress was attentive. Also cleaned another customers table as soon as he left.The rump and sirloins are on offer Monday-Wednesday. Came to around £16 for a good steak scran, peppercorn sauce, and a pint of Stella.Will definitely come back
