A small unpaved carpark right on the lake, overcrowded with people who think they own it. Not impressed at all and the several signs reminding you that it is “private water“ make you feel very uncomfortable and unwelcome. The water might be private, but the the road leading to it isn’t! In the evening there are grown up kids messing about with their noisy cars and early mornings you get arrogant dog walkers, who take pictures of your vehicle if they haven’t seen it there before. Not impressed at all.

Love this lake....and although quite small this car park always seems to have a space....but word of warning it is very uneven ....so be aware of the level difference when joining the main lane .

Sat and watched the geese and fed them which was nice shame its a private lake and not able to fish on day rate
