Albert Court - Student Accommodation

The guys on Reception could not have been more helpful, very friendly with a great sense of humour. The room was exactly what I expected and it was spotlessly clean. The carpets in the corridors however are old and very stained, which was a bit offputting, so was very pleased ti find that the room was very clean.

A good place to stay. Rooms are big and clean. Close to campus as well as city centre. Loads of restaurants downstairs. Staff are amazing, CV workshop helped me get a part time job.

Honestly no better place to stay… the staff have been there for me when I have needed them most at all times of day… there for a chat and a laugh and also if I need any help with my room ….the people living here have been more than friendly and open. The social areas are always buzzing and fun to hang out in and the gym is also a really nice bonus.Super close to post offices , near the centre of town and the train station. Honestly couldn’t recommend a better place to stay whilst studying.

Very well situated for the city center , Liverpool One ,Albert Dock and football grounds not too far away. The accommodation is based for students , but my room was good,clean ,kettle, tea, coffee and milk provided.

The rooms are so dirty, and I really didn’t like staying here. I couldn't stay inside the room. The bathroom was extremely small, and I hated taking a shower there. I would suggest looking for some other accommodation.

I feel most of the reviews below are fake. Read the entire thing. Moving in to find an infestation of fruit flies developing within a leftover rice cooker, the fridge/freezer, and cupboards also loaded with leftover out-of-date products from the previous occupants, the kitchen was left in a shambles. Be prepared for constantly weekly/bi-weekly visits from maintenance, coming into your room unnannounced with no prior notice via email even, as well as the cleaners out of term time who will try to open your door even if it's locked without knocking and who do not bother with the kitchen at all. The kitchen floor was soiled and covered in clumps of who knows what, and the carpet and floor were pulled up with numerous holes. After living here for a year, I was assigned to a flat with a never-ending rotation of flatmates, largely internationals who had no interest in talking with any of us. At worst, having to meet yet another housemate after the previous one left after only a week. Most coming in to find their rooms hadn't been cleaned upon arrival, to their shock, after other international students left their rooms still filled without care and the staff hadn't even checked. One of them had been smoking in their rooms, producing a smoke stink throughout the corridor, and nothing was done about it. Furthermore, don't be surprised if you find yourself living with somebody 5 years or more your senior, since I had a near-30-year-old flatmate and have seen much older from other flats. Not to mention the god-awful squeaky beds, and the walls and how thin they are as other reviews have alluded to; they are so thin that you can hear the slightest movement, snoring, complete conversation, and even your flatmates using the bathroom. Be prepared to be kept awake or awoken, to the sound of others in the accommodations “making use of their beds” squeaking through floors. Then proceed to the outside courtyard area, where you will be kept awake most of the year by crowds of people shouting and yelling crystal clear through your pitiful excuse of a window. Then onto London Road itself, what a hole, expect to be welcomed by your local crackhead outside the entrance asking for change or a beer or someone sleeping surrounded by cans/bottles of alcohol on the golocal underneath's wall. I would not suggest this accommodation at all, and the costs are outrageous. For the same amount, or even less, you could live in a brand new modern accommodation closer to town with far better utilities and an ensuite with a good shower, an accommodation that doesn't look like a prison cell.

The staff are all exceptionally helpful. Facilities are generally well maintained. Location is worth the price in its own. It can get loud at night but overall worth a visit and consideration.

I was living in Albert Court for three years. Living there felt nothing special at first, but over time I started to appreciate it more and more. It's the little things that cumulatively make the biggest impact and the host understands it. She is super kind and makes everyone feel welcome and at home. People at the reception are always smiling, positive, friendly, down-to-earth and most helpful. The cleaning staff is on point - no surface was ever left sticky. Maintenance guys can solve issues within minutes and keep residents informed with everything going on. There are events like wine and cheese night, make your own pizza, free soup, free toasties, pumpkin carving competitions, killer pool with Amazon gift cards as rewards and more. Albert Court is not just a place to sleep, it offers so much more.

Stayed there over Easter and have no complaints The accommodation is basic but all the better for that Clean and secure Also a well kitchen at the end of the corridor is a real bonus Great location Lovely staff

A really friendly place to stay. It’s convenient for the hospital and both Universities. Whilst not a five-star hotel (as the prices suggest), the rooms are clean and warm, the facilities very good and the staff (available 24 hours) are very helpful. I’ve stayed here twice and will do so again.
