We decided to try Rex as an alternative to all the usual chain bakeries/ coffee shops. We were not disappointed!Coffee, with far more taste to it and cakes that were fresh and delicious. The service could be improved, but, sometimes waiting for a few more minutes has its rewards.It is possibly a little pricey, but, the ingredients for somewhere like this are great quality and unfortunateley also expensive. I would rather pay a little bit more and really enjoy what I get on my plate and in my cup, as I did today!! Well done Rex, you have won me over for my future visits to Windsor!

Great food, great flat white obviously coffee amazing and the staff are friendly and exactly what the ethos of this independent family owned business! Definitely will be coming back for the overall experience!

A very standard bakery that promotes itself as an independent bakery but has all the feel of a chain. The flat white was slightly better than average for Windsor. Bitter aftertaste, far too hot and very little strength to it - 7.2/10

Always walked past Rex, but decided to pop in yesterday for the first time to pick up some pastries... x2 Chelsea buns and x2 Cinnamon and raisin swirls, but when I tried them when I got home they were hard and stale. Considering they collectively totalled over £11 I won't be here again.**UPDATE**I have since been in touch with one of the co-owners - Caroline who delivered some replacement items which were soft and very tasty. I do appreciate when companies recognise they have missed the mark and go out their way to make corrections. We are all human after all. Changed up my rating to reflect this.

Beautiful bespoke shop. Friendly and genuine staff. Pastries and bread are amazing. I love this shop and wish they were close to where I live but they are 220 miles away. I wish them the very best.

We are visitors from Canada and so lucky to be at your place. The food was awesome.Amazing service by staff. Hospitality was its best. I was not able to catch the name of staff but the lady name starts with M and the gentleman with an A.We will remember the visit for ever.
