I contacted Islington Canal Boat hire on numerous occasions over a month in advance to set up a booking for my birthday. The website was poorly set up and did not stipulate the amount required for the booking, after speaking to them on the phone and confirming my booking they then took over a week to send me an email confirmation with rate of GBP250 which I did not expect and had to confer with other people, in the following days when I got back to them they told me my booking was cancelled this is now one week away from my birthdayNo effort was made by them to rectify this issue which was theirs and I think their surly manner and lack of interest in resolving this issue means i would not recommend them in the future

Wonderful day out! ACCT provide an affordable service for community organisations to arrange canal trips for those who might not usually get the chance. Our community centre regulars had a lovely day out and our Skipper Phil was a superb host. Thank you!

Great way to spend my birthday, hiring this boat for private hire. Me and my friends had a great time. Also, a big thanks to Phil who gave excellent service and taught us a little about the history of the canal route! We had 3-hour private hire yesterday - had an incredible time with Phil who is very warm and helpful! The boat has a lovely character and is neat and clean. We liked that we could use the little kitchen too. Fun going through the long tunnel from Angel to King’s Cross - the children loved shouting ‘echoey’! Will do it again, especially knowing that we are supporting a charity at the same time. Thank you Phil!
