Best takeaway av had for age's thanks

Last time from here order was late and when it did arrive there was one missing item the fried rice. I phoned to complain and was told will get it to you ASAP. Half an hour later I had to phone again to be told the driver left 10 minutes ago and was coming to me 1st . It told him half an hour to drive about 3 miles by this time my special curry was cold. I will never order from here again from 1st delivery to getting my curry then waiting for the rice took almost 1 hour thanks again jade garden for my cold meal. Also the curry sauce was congealed

Used to order regularly from here.However, for about 3 orders in a row, a pork dish was delivered with chicken.When we called to complain, the staff member on the phone was very polite and apologetic.Advised that the kitchen staff don't know the difference between the meats and they would send another order up.The food is normally good quality, chips are great and the mushroom side is a favourite but unfortunately I no longer feel comfortable ordering from here.

Ordered two meals and spring rolls.Special fried rice was the worst I've ever had from there, only 2 prawns that I had to hunt for, no egg, and the three bits of chicken were like a dogs chew, really limited ingredients.I also had the spring rolls, there were two of them, filled with beansprouts, but with little to nothing else.The other dish was shredded chicken, it tasted OK, lots of onions to make it look more, but again the chicken was very limited.Apparently shredded chicken doesn't come with rice.In short, I should have bought a pot noodle as they have more ingredients.

Since this takeaway has been taken over by the New owners the quality and taste of the food has dropped dramatically! The dishes are far too salty, even though we don’t mind a bit of salt in our food. The taste is overbearing with the taste of salt! This was previously our favourite Chinese take away when it was run by the previous owners. What a pity they gave the place up due to the huge increase in rent being imposed on them by the owner of the building!

Updated 13/6/23 -Jade garden is under new management but no signs up to make you aware.I ordered my regular favourite salt and chilli chips. When I got home and opened it they were battered, full of super burnt bits that looked like garlic and it wasn't the same as it used to be, turns out there under new management which explains it so won't be going back. They're using chunky chips now too which just aren't the same. The sweet and sour I ordered was alright as was the egg fried rice. The plain noodles were alright too but JG was the only Chinese in Kirkcaldy that did proper salt and chilli chips and now they dont, super disappointed with that.Can't recommend Jade Garden anymore sadly.Updated 01/23 - And still a 5 star takeaway.Updated 08/22 - Still a 5 star takeaway.Original review - Absolutely love Jade Garden, the food is spot on each and every time. Friendly staff and quick service (collection can't talk about delivery).Highlights are the salt and chilli chips, the chicken curry and the chicken chow mein oh and the sweet and sour chicken, ooft !It used to be JG, Try ABC for Chinese in KDY now.

Quality of food was poor, special fryed rice had two small prawn in it, ans no fried egg on top,the pancake rolls had beansprouts not much more, and I phone back up regarding my meal shredded chicken as i had not rice or chips as I had not asked for when ordring a main meal..portion size are alot smaller and over all disappointed in the food, we have used this takeway for years. Not good quality or good value. Sorry, the young man who works in shop is friendly .
