Booked well in advance & visited as a party of 5. Told prior to our visit that if we didn't arrive on time we would be subject to a £20 charge per party member. Somewhat reasonable if the restaurant was ready for us... They were not (even on a slow Monday night). Waited 30 minutes for our table, when taken up the the dining area we were shown to quite possibly the least desirable and smallest table in the restaurant, we asked if there was a chance we could change to a bigger table as this was only placed for 4 and was in the dark next to the bin room. The hostess said she would check and disappeared. Someone else then heard our concerns and said we could be seated elsewhere... We were seated on the same table, just a different location, again this only had 4 place settings so one of our party was left standing while they fumbled together another dining set while we shuffled everything else around. We had made an inquiry to be seated in one of 4 empty booths as we had no room at all on this kids table. We were told these are only for parties of 8+ and then watched all night as parties of 3/4 came and went from the booths, 1 booth was empty our entire visit. We did ask to speak to management, however after half the night passing we had to chase this and were just told 'they said no'.The food was as expected for the price. Nothing major to say besides the apple crumble tasting burnt. We were told prior that the food would arrive as and when, we were fine with this until we had all eaten and one of the party members hadn't had anything, when the food arrived we were shocked, £85.00 for a whole onion, small cut of beef and a spec of pureed mash... then after everyone was finished... came the carrots??? Our waiter was clearly handling more tables than able, through no fault of his own. We had to constantly combine dishes on the table as there was no room for plates and didn't even have space for a cocktail menu, not that we could find a waiter when needed to ask for one... Clearly all efforts and £ has gone to the decor in the building and they really need to place efforts elsewhere. Would not return and would not recommend. We did have another table that was so politely persistent in wanting to get us all a round of drinks, but we were that underwhelmed by the cocktails we politely declined and saved him some money and took ours elsewhere. Some cocktails comparable to Robinsons lemon squash. Had we enjoyed the night we would've happily carried on downstairs in the bar area but we were all ready to leave before dessert (which we only had as it was included in some of the tables set menu). We then went to another lovely cocktail bar and were seated in a gorgeous booth and given 10/10 service.See pictured, empty booth & poor steak efforts

The decor and atmosphere is amazing, the service was also very good however the food was very disappointing, only the chicken is halal not the meat. The chicken we were served was raw and very pink, the manager called the chef and he tried to tell us it was okay to eat when clearly it looks uncooked. Would not be returning again, we were quite disappointed with the food.

Would highly recommend. We visited during the soft launch and were blown away. Experienced great service from both the bar before the meal and during our food. Every member of staff was friendly and made us feel welcome. The food was so tasty. We went with the Pita bread with Hummus bowl and Tartare Caviar, caramelised aubergine, halloumi tempura, fried calamari, artichoke risotto and pearl mushrooms. We also had 2 desserts to share. We had the banoffee+ and coconut soup. This might sound strange, but I highly recommend the coconut soup. It was honestly one of the best desserts I’ve had in such a long time. They also had a good selection of alcohol free cocktails:River sticksHerbal infusionFreddo MartiniCostal mist

Delicious cocktails, especially the Fenix nest sour, which was as delicious as it was well presented. Would definitely come again, and would love to come and try the food next time! The atmosphere was lovely, straight out of Mykonos, and the service was amazing, very friendly.10/10!

The food was impressive even if it was on the expensive side. The Wagyu Stifado was exceptional as was the beef paccheri. If you’re ordering the moussaka be aware it’s a 1 bite wonder.Every dish was good but don’t expect traditional or large portions, this is definitely more on the side of fine dining Greek. The bar has a good atmosphere, with good music but the ambient lighting makes it almost impossible to read the menuOur server was really friendly and polite so giving a 3 seems harsh but a few issues with stock of particular wines meant that we couldn’t order what we would have liked and it felt a bit rushed however It’s only just opened so the service would probably get better but how on your opening weekend do you not have stock of popular wines I do not know.

We attended for the opening week and the venue is absolutely stunning. The staff were attentive and friendly and the cocktails were delicious. The food was incredibly tasty, however they had ran out of the Wagyu Stifado which was disappointing, and 2 of the dishes (halloumi and prawns) came out barely warm. We later requested an additional side of potatoes which came out very quickly and were very undercooked and cold. Our waiter Lee addressed this immediately and the manager then approached us to apologise. Feedback was given regarding the 2 other dishes not being hot and we were encouraged to leave an honest review so they can monitor areas for improvement prior to the full opening. The food really was delicious and with some time management tweaks this place will be a firm favourite of ours. The moussaka was wonderful.

We were lucky to attend one of the soft launch days at Fenix and very much enjoyed the experience. Fenix is a Greek/Asian fusion restaurant which makes it interesting from the start. The venue is beautiful - stylish, interesting and plenty of room. So many places jam people in: Fenix definitely doesn't and it is much appreciated. The food was of high quality and there were plenty of interesting choices. We would have gone for the ribs, but there were none available that day. We'll have to go back! Finally, the service was outstanding. Very attentive and efficient. Highly recommended.

Myself and 2 other guests managed to get a reservation for the soft launch at Fenix, and were offered 50% off all food. The location is very good in a nice square that is easily accessible, central, and has nearby parking within walking distance. This is the most beautiful restaurant I have ever visited by far. The lighting is perfect, the decor is a mix of natural stones and plants like olive trees with more modern touches. The furniture is high quality and the whole place manages to curate a vibe that is very immersive. The service was excellent throughout - staff were very attentive and gave us a warm welcome, with no pretentious attitude like we have experienced in similar restaurants. The only negative I can think of is that tap water was only provided 1/4 of a small glass at a time leading to waiters needing to top us very frequently which we felt was borderline too much. The cocktail menu was 10/10 - looked very pretty with photos of each, prices reasonable considering the standard and lots of unique choices. The presentation of the drinks was insane - really cool glasses and they looked exactly like the photos. The taste of all of the cocktails was good, nothing mind blowing as the flavours weren’t particularly strong but would definitely come back here for a drink in future. The food menu was limited as it was a launch event but there was a good selection of items. We chose:- Pita breads - really good - soft, pillowy and fresh- Tzatziki - not actually on the launch menu but they made for us anyway, very smooth, delicious and fresh- Smoked aubergine and feta salad - more like a dip than a salad, nice flavour good for dipping with the pita- Halloumi tempura - good, light and soft didn’t have the rubbery squeaky texture halloumi can have and the yuzu drizzle was good- Chicken Anticucho - flavour of the chicken was good and came with bread, however only had 1 very small chicken skewer - could easily have been 2, was too small to actually share- Broken down tart - not my favourite dish, the pastry was very crispy and the tart was very thin - the lamb had a nice flavour but there wasn’t much of it and it was quite fatty- Moussaka - really enjoyed the flavours of this, the short rib tasted like it had been slow cooked for hours and the sauce had a rich flavour, portion was small for nearly £16- Spicy Tiger Prawns - these were delicious, really large prawns with the heads and tails on, came in a thick creamy sauce, and the quality of the prawns was very good. Again the portion could’ve been bigger considering the price of £29 as we only got 3 prawns on the plate which works out at nearly £10 per prawn- Beef Tagliata- this was my least favourite dish. The price was £34.90 so I expected it to be a larger plate - I was actually shocked at the size of the beef when it arrived, very small and thin. It did not taste like fillet. It was also cooked to almost blue - far too rare for me personally. The chimichurri was very good but didn’t make up for the lack of beef.- Banoffee New Style - delicious and light, good mix of textures with some crunchy biscuit pieces, toffee sauce and banana cream - one of the best things I had here. The main drawback of this place is that the prices were absolutely insane. We paid 50% and felt that this was probably about right for the food we ate. We are more than willing to pay for good food but for reference ate at a Michelin star restaurant in Paris last week and paid €48 for 3 courses. That would get you one main course at this restaurant which would be extremely small, and while the food was good, it was nowhere close to actual fine dining standards. The portions for some of the dishes were very small, which becomes a bit of a problem when promoting a ‘sharing menu’ if there’s only enough for 3 people to take 1 small bite each.Overall, really beautiful restaurant with a fun cocktail menu which I would definitely recommend for a visit for drinks and photos, nice enough food but the prices are way too high for us to consider returning and paying full price.

The decor and vibe is definitely the main attraction of this restaurant. A lot of thought has gone into the whole experience and they have really pulled the Mykonos theme off well. The food and service wasn’t overly amazing (the waitress seemed inexperienced and it was hard to get her attention & the food took so long to arrive then some of the dishes were cold) but the cocktails are amazing and would definitely recommend the pita bread with Tzatziki

Greek style food with modern twists of classics makes it a must see in MCR and a great addition to their other restaurant TattuMoussaka was one of the best I've ever had and certainly the most unique.Wine selection was great and a rarity to see Greek wines especially worth trying macedonia selection.Decor makes you feel like your inside a Greek cave with very high levels of detail and care to make sure you feel like your in a show for a dining experience.
