Brilliant service will always do there best to get the school items you need even with the supply issues caused by issues beyond there control

We have been there a few times for school uniforms and stationery, and each time we've received good service at a reasonable price.

Went in for the first time to check out the store, as i entered the store i already noticed that the lady wasent to happy to have customers, she didnt engage with us at all, when exiting the shop i said goodbye she didnt bother replying, she clearly heard us as we were the only ones in, i repeted myself because i was curious to her reaction, at this time she looked up with an annoyed face and replied . You dont get this reaction very often here in the Uk, so i was shocked. Deff not going back.

Went in today for an item and the gentleman behind the counter was incredibly rude to me. I’m all for supporting small high street businesses, but not when I’m spoken to in that tone or manner.

Eve is brilliant. Always a pleasure to visit Ace Essentials. Everything you could need to kit the kids out for school. Quality of the products is very good and great value for money too. I would never shop anywhere else for school wear. In 17 years she has never let me down, even with all of the pressure she gets put under.

Can't give enough praise for the guys at Ace, even as a non essential school uniform shop they did an excellent collection service and sorted out an exchange when an item didn't fit. Thank you, incredible service

This is a great little shop, although looking too small to fit anything in, surprisingly it has everything you can want for school! From pencils and rubbers to school uniforms and notebooks. This is a fantastic local stationary shop. Stop by if you ever need anything!

Went to the shop recently to order my daughters uniform etc for high school. Lady who runs the shop is lovely! Takes her time to assist you. Shame some people have no manners sometimes. During the summer she is going to be inundated with orders etc but she is organised and knows what she is doing. Some parents are stressing that the blazers wont come in time, I believe they will & if they don't I think it's down to the school and not the shop as they did leave it quite late to change the design etc. It will all come good in the end.

One star is giving this place an over rating!! Seems as though the only thing they are ACE" at is driving their customers away... The woman who served us and was polite and lovely......in JANUARY... obviously she cannot cope with the pressure of going back to school rush! She was rude abrupt and was quite happy for me to take my custom elsewhere. Snapping at me for making a comment about ringing the store numerous times and had no answer nor had a response to an email. If you can't do the job love move on... And whoever the guy was in there he too was rude and abrupt with shouting across the store it's tough that phone calls were not answered. Customer service is absolutely shocking! Not even a sorry for the rudeness and abruptness... Obviously I told her where to stick her products and I went elsewhere... May have had to pay a very minimal amount extra but had a much more pleasant experience!"

Ace Essentials has kept my kids in school uniforms for 16 years. Wouldn't shop anywhere else. Eve is such a lovely lady with the patience of a saint
