Waterfront Hair

This salon is under new management within the last couple of weeks, and I cannot begin to tell you what an outstanding salon this is. Jo' the owner is a tried and tested colour expert with so many awards, her skills are incomparable. Jo' used to work at Mark Jeffs, and now I will not let anyone else touch my hair. I have a colour with highlights and cut every 5-6 weeks, and the prices are very competitive.The salon is in an excellent location, easily accessible off the A57, very picturesque with free parking which is of course a bonus. Waterfront Hair is very welcoming and not at all standoffish unlike some of the other quality hair salons. Jo' is a very bubbly character and will guide you without being at all pushy if you need advice (as I did). I am keen to watch this salon under new ownership rise from the ashes and stand out as the county's leading hair salon. Good luck Jo', you have a customer for life in me!!

I moved here from Fareham Hampshire November 2017, it has taken me all this time to find a hairdresser who listens and gives me what I want. I have just had my second cut by Tina 25th September and it,s perfect, just what I wanted, I will be a regular client from now on. Thank you Tina.

First time my wife has visited this hairdressers. She was very impressed with the way they cut her hair. Going back in 2 weeks to have it coloured. Friendly staff who made. me a lovely cup of coffee.

It's always a pleasure to visit Jo Jo at waterfront Hair. She always listens to what you want, is great at colour and cutting too - added to which she is lovely. The atmosphere in the salon is warm and welcoming... I would highly recommend

I requested 'a creamy blonde, with NO white/grey and NO orange'. The hairdresser asked if I wanted a toner and I replied whatever she thought was best to achieve what I had requested. When I left the salon, got home and had a chance to look at it properly the colour was patchy and stripey and very very bright, white in some places orange in others. The highlights had been put in too thickly leaving great gaps in between and I looked like a barmaid out of Eastenders. I called back the next day after I had washed it (I heard that highlights can sometimes appear brighter at first and then dull down again) and was told by the brash, rude and frankly 'gobby' manageress that I had bought a service at a reduced price and so would receive a reduced service" and that "toner was not included in the price and only select colours were included". Now I'm not sure why such strange rules would be used merely from someone purchasing from Groupon at a deal price that they had set themselves up for

E-mailed 5 days ago to make an appointment and heard nothing back. Rang and left a voicemail message and no-one could be bothered to ring me back. Useless and unprofessional
