House of Colour

I had a lovely experience at Shirley's House of Colour. It was much more than I expected and the session was not just about what colours suited me but also made me realise the impact colours can have on the way I look and feel. I now understand what season I am, and even within that, what specific colours suit me best. I have with me a booklet of my colours, small enough to fit in my bag and take shopping with me. I will certainly be using it in the future to prevent me from buying any more clothes that don't suit me. Session also includes some lovely home baking which is always a win! Would highly recommend Shirley! Will put you at ease and help you make better choices in the future!

Whilst completing a journey of self improvement i was recommended to speak and spend some time with an image consultant and decided to get in touch with Shirley.Shirley made me feel very welcome and was very easy to speak to and also very professional. A friend and I enjoyed an excellent day out with Shirley learning about colour and makeup. In the few days following the consultation I can already appreciate how life changing this experience has been. I now confidently wear clothes I know will suit me and have become a lippy wearer which is unheard of. Highly recommend.

I really enjoyed my session with Shirley and got so much out of it. As well as being extremely knowledgeable, she is incredibly personable and makes you feel completely at ease.The session covers a lot in a few hours and I particularly liked that it included guidance on make-up (which I'm completely useless at!) and a practice shopping session so you get a chance to put your new colour knowledge to the test.I've recently got back into sewing so being armed with the knowledge and confidence of the colours that will work best on me has made this experience worthwhile. It will absolutely challenge your prejudices about certain colours and surprise you. If you are undecided about whether to do it, then don't be - you will come out of the session with a bounce in your step and feeling more confident about future clothing choices.

I have had my own colours done, then subsequently my husband and daughters. It just makes life better. It’s easier to look good, less money is wasted on clothes that aren’t right. I consider this an investment, in addition to all this, Shirley is an utterly fantastic human being. 5 stars from us!

Highly recommend! I wasn't sure what exactly to expect, but it turned out to be a great investment in a fabulous afternoon. Shirley created such a warm and welcoming atmosphere, she is professional, has a great sense of humour and so much experience. I learned a lot from her and especially appreciated the great introduction to the session. It's not all about colours only, there is so much psychology in it, too! An experience that will last a lifetime!

My daughter and I came for a colour class with and what a brilliant session it was! Shirley is very professional and a fountain of knowledge when it comes to colours. I had my colours re-rated but for my daughter it was an amazing first insight in how wearing the right colours can change the way you look, something that will stay with us for the rest of our lives.Thank you for making it such a memorable experience for us!
