We had our wedding reception at Portsmouth Distillery in September this year and the whole experience was fantastic. From start to finish communication with the venue was brilliant and they couldn’t have been more helpful and accommodating. All of our guests were so impressed by how unique and interesting the venue was. All the bar staff etc on the day were great and Jackie who organised everything for us is an absolute star! Cannot recommend highly enough!

First time to the Portsmouth Distillery, I will be back!! A great Gin and Rum tour by two (Giles and Vince) passionate Rum and Gin experts!! Fantastic location, and some great Gin and Rum!! As a Gin person I have not really tried Rum, I will now, especially the Cinnabar Rum!! A must visit if you are in the area, book a tour early as they book up quickly.

Super morning's tour of the Portsmouth Distillery in an intriguing location - sharing the owners' infectious passion for their art, unique story and exceptionally good gin and rums. Generous guided tasting in the former explosives store of this historic naval fort completed a fascinating, fact filled tour. Well recommended!

Just went on a distillery tour of the gin and rum making facilities. Really interesting and fascinating place with lots of history. Great local business and amazing drinks. Would definitely recommend to buy the products or visit yourself.

The Portsmouth Distillery
Went to Portsmouth distillery for a tour today, the staff were very welcoming, and knowledgeable. We learnt about the history of the fort, then went on a tour meeting Suzi Wong, an unforgettablelady. The tour ended with tasting, that was the worst part! (Just kidding). You do get the chance to have a proper drink at the end, but the decision on which gin, or rum to have might be difficult. Products are sold at the end of the tour so if you fall in love with a bottle or two, they do refill them at a cheaper price. An excellent afternoon thanks to the team at Portsmouth distillery.

Great experience with a very knowledgeable Vicky and Vince. Gin and Rum were great and it was nice to hear about the history of the place and how the gin and rum were made

Enjoyed the tour here from family as a Christmas gift. Was refreshing to meet people who are so passionate and happy at work. Tour was really interesting and rum and gin tasting was great fun. Nice to see how a local business is developing enjoying what they are doing.

Discovered one of Portsmouth's best kept secrets in Fort Cumberland. Welcoming and friendly staff in such a historic location. Tried all the spirits they have on offer.Don't be put off by the main gate, just buzz to pass through.Thoroughly recommend visiting Vince, Giles and Co. Will be back when their newer spirits are available. Look forward to returning.
