We are not happy! With high price , we expected high standard of work as well. Only 1 plus is that windows frame are thick but we had problem with closing all 6 windows! Finishing work was dramatic! Full of silicon around windows! I am really disappointed and not recommend!

Had a gent from Emerald knock on the door and ask if I needed any new doors or windows. For the first time ever I actually said yes to a door to door salesman as I needed 2 new doors on my house. A couple of days later one of Emerald's salesman came to my house to show me their range of doors and measure up etc. At this point I was very pleased with the service, right up until he revealed the quote.I was quoted a whopping £5250 for 1 composite door and 1 UPVC door.He then phoned his manager and after some very dubious conversations revealed I was eligible for discount.The quote then came down to £4000- 1400 for UPVC- 2600 for compositeApparently to receive this offer I would have to commit to it within a couple of days as they needed to order the door before the offer period expired at the end of October. He then tried to push me to make a decision there and then, and used supposedly an old brochure from his previous employer to try and prove that they were cheaper then other installers.After he left I contacted a number of companies to get comparable quotes, with most coming back as around 800 for a UPVC door, and around 1500 for a composite door. Far less than the quote from Emerald.Overall, massively overpriced with pressure sales tactics. I was absolutely appalled that someone could be happy with themselves trying to push someone to commit to such extortionate prices.

We had 2 very large and 4 smaller windows fitted by Kevin and Cellan from Emerald last week. They made an excellent job installing them They stayed cheerful and professional working over three of the hottest days of the year. Removed all debris and left everything as they found it. Couldn’t fault them. Windows are of a high standard.

Just had new door fitted , Kev. And Cellan worked really hard in the snow. Very pleased with our new door. Professional job thanks.

Just had four windows replaced by Emerald. Gaz and Matt did an excellent job. They were professional, respectful and left the place clean and tidy. No mess to clear up at all. Thanks to all concerned.

I wouldn't recommend. Rob the sales person is great but everyone else is ridiculous. The window fitters took 3 days to fit 7 windows but have time to fit in 4 fag breaks within the space of an hour. There was some issues which isn't really an issue but the guy who came to resolve the issues has come out twice and still can't figure out what colour our handle is that needs replacing as we were given a faulty one. There is no communication across teams. They have no issues harassing you for more sales but show no interest in apologising for wasting your time. I would recommend Rob but not the company.

Had a random door knock from Emerald to ask if I needed any new doors or windows. Strangely enough… we were in the process of looking so scheduled an appointment. A couple of days later the rep came round to measure and provide a quote. As stated by a few other reviews everything was fine until we received the quote.We were quoted £14700 for 5 windows and a door.The rep then phoned his ‘manager’ aka sidekick and shockingly revealed I was eligible for discount - this was because his mate had looked at google earth and seen we lived on a nice street apparently… and the fact they were in the area and has a couple of spaces left… only though if we booked it there and then. The quote if we did was £10400.We said we’d get some other quotes and eventually after trying every trick to get us to sign there and then including a few more loudspeaker calls to his mate he left.Over the next 24 hours we had 13 calls off various numbers from the company - 4 calls from 3 numbers over the space of 48mins.Comparable quotes have come in around £6000, with no pushing or stank sales tactics. Far less than the quote from Emerald and a very similar quality.Wether they’re in financial difficulty and that’s resulted in pushy sales tactics or if this is how they operate, it’s not pleasant. And resulted in them certainly losing ours and the business of 2 other people on our street. Drop the inflated quote, fake manager calls and discount codes and just be honest give the correct price. It’s basic ethics.

New front door fitted by Emerald and it looks amazing. Quality and finish are to a really high standard. The two guys that fitted the door (Kev and Cellan) where professional neat and tidy. Everything was taken away so no faff with trying to get rid of doors and plastic. Would highly recommend.

No-one I've met from Emerald was at all pushy. I had my old patio door replaced with french doors & feel I got a good service & product, at a good price. Kev, the fitter, was a pleasure to have around & not only is no filling or repainting now required, but he left zero mess. I'm so impressed by the noise difference that I'm getting a quote for my bedroom window now. Would definitely recommend them.

Absolute rip off merchants, originally quoted over £11,000 for a few new windows and a back door (all other quotes we had were between £5000-6000) magically after ringing the manager we were eligible for a discount down to £7500. Everything about the way they do things seemed off and dodgy, especially after the phone call with the so called manager, we were told he'd call back in 5 mins as he was just gonna google earth our house?? Still unsure why? Was also originally told the quote would last 12 months but then said I'd have to book in straight away for the price quoted as they are already working in the area. Not sure why I'd only be allowed to book in whilst they're in the area and not when I choose to. All in all I wouldn't touch a company that operates in this way, very pushy and dodgy sales tactics
