Bought a second car from this garage in May and it's had no end of faults, and Evans Halshaw have been so unhelpful when we've tried to get help. They don't answer the phone, and when we've gone into the building to try and speak to someone in person, they've only had temporary sale staff who can't help because they say all the normal staff are on holiday. So rubbish. Couldn't recommend less.

I was a bit dubious about buying another car from here as my previous experience wasn’t a great one. Having said that i thought i would give them another go. Went into the CITREON dealership today to just have a ‘look around’ and have a finance review. A lovely lady called Lucy Marzouk dealt with me. That girl needs a pay rise, she could sell snow to an eskimo! She dealt with my questions efficiently and i was extremely happy with her level of customer service. She was very knowledgeable and explained things at a level that i could understand. She is an asset to the company. If you read this Lucy, thankyou SO much I absolutely love my new car and I can’t wait to pick it up tomorrow. BEEP BEEP!!

BUYER BEWARE!Purchased a 2014 Nissan Note 1.5 DCi in December 2022, and less than a year later I have been met with a massive repair bill.I took the vehicle to my usual reliable repair centre in early November 2023 to be given a Major Service - only to be advised on top of this regular maintenance that my vehicle’s timing belt (yes, a part that if it fails, will likely completely destroy my vehicle’s engine) was 4 years overdue - 3 years overdue at the time of Evans Halshaw servicing and handing over the vehicle! (It should be done every 5 years or 90,000 miles, whichever is first) I was not once advised of this by Evans Halshaw, either verbally or in writing. Any reputable vehicle dealer would either ensure that this VITAL maintenance was carried out, or in the very least that the customer was aware that it would be required on purchasing the vehicle.When I called Evans Halshaw to query why this egregious lapse in service happened, I was met with complete and immediate dismissal of my concerns. I would not expect this kind of poor service and carelessness from a reputable main dealer of all places, when I have spent my hard earned money to purchase a vehicle I was assured was up to standard!Needless to say, I would staunchly advise anyone to AVOID this dealer, lest you get any nasty surprises a few months down the line.
