Ian is a very nice man and very professional and undertook the rewiring and replacement of bathroom fan and kitchen lights at very short notice as I needed an urgent EICR certificate to allow me to Rent my mothers Bungalow after she had to be taken into a care home . Ian even moved another job and worked all weekend to make sure the work was done on timeAnd all his work was done to the highest standards and Ian explained in detail what was required to meet the new regulations . The price was extremely reasonable given the timescale and how Ian had put himself out to help me . I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Ian and Towers Electrical to anyone and I can only imagine the negative poor review must be someone who had a vendetta against This company as they were fantastic. Thanks Ian for your excellent and prompt service . !!!

We contacted Ian after he had been recommended for work done on our sons house.He came to check out the work we needed, explained options and gave a us a quote.We discussed scheduling, which he fitted to our mutual convenience.The work took place as agreed. It was done to the highest professional standard, no fuss no mess. Ian even worked late to save us being inconvenienced an extra day.We cannot rate Ian highly enough and would use him for all future work as well as recommending him to others.

After moving in to a new home we needed a bit of working doing, from new plug sockets, improved lighting, cabling work and more importantly, moving the consumer unit from the bedroom in to the garage. Ian and his son did a fantastic job and we were really pleased with his workmanship and more importantly, he came in under budget, which was great news! Would have no hesitation in using him again or recommending Ian.

Towers Electrical installed a Tesla home charger for me. The installation was done professionally, on-time and was given all the required certifications.Highly recommended!

I would highly recommend Ian & Chris from Towers Electrical.Ian was recommended to us by a relative who had worked with him before he set up his own business. Our experience was excellent. Ian was professional throughout - arrived on time for the initial meeting and to create a quote, he was open to suggestions and discussions and provided the quote in writing quickly.He came in exactly on quote (no additional costs as is often the case), they were tidy throughout, constantly hoovering up and keeping a very clean work environment. They were really good company and a pleaseure to have in the house.Ian & Chris completed an excellent job on time and we've scheduled them back in for more work outside our house later this Autumn.The work down was replacing a series of sockets for a kitchen refurb and adding in new sockets in the kitchen, including a hidden socket behind a wall-mounted tv as well as fitting 2 security lights outside our property.

We had a full house rewire and it was completed on time with minimum disruption. Very tidy and a friendly service. What's not to recommend

I’m so upset after dealing with Ian Towers. Do not use this man!Ian came to ‘help’ us fix some electrical work at our house. We wanted some electrics finishing in our newly plastered kitchen diner space and the whole room made live for wren to fit our new kitchen in a couple of weeks. We also needed some work on the switchboard connection to the fuse box.After the second day, I came home to find he’d replaced an already wired and existing back box in the newly plastered wall (which was perfectly fine) and wrecked my plaster work. (Photo attached) All for an extra, measly 1cm depth for the wires. All that mess and damage. I never asked him to do this but he took it upon himself to do so.The following morning, my husband and I went to chat to him about how unhappy we were with this mess and he got very defensive. He was charging us £52 an HOUR! When you charge a client that much, and they have a complaint, you listen and work together on a solution. But ten minutes after our chat, when we thought we’d made a plan, he came banging on our door and saying loudly in front of my daughter that he ‘wasn’t happy’ and that I ‘didn’t trust him’ whilst waiving around his electrical certificates.I then had to listen to my husband massage his wounded ego and plead with him to finish the work. My husband agreed in good faith to pay him for the work he’d already done and the rest on completion. Ian took our money and ran. £500 for 2 days work. But not before destroying ANOTHER wall with a bigger back box, which he knew I didn’t want doing. He left the floor a mess. He left with no warning. Not even a call. And now I have an unfinished space and two huge holes to fix in my walls. Cheers man.Ian is ‘used to working with 250 men reporting to him’ apparently but couldn’t cope with 1 woman who wasn’t happy with his work and questioned his methods. Chris, who was working with him, was lovely. He was calm when I said I wasn’t happy. He was trying to be reassuring and give me solutions. All the while, Ian’s bottom lip was quivering in anger. He could learn a lot from Chris.I’m absolutely appalled at his sexist attitude towards me and lack of care to my home. Do not use him.
