Skelton Country Park
I take an over 60s walking group to different places each Monday....2 laps of the lake is just over 3 mile...followed by coffee and cake.

Skelton Country Park
Lovely place for a walk, could even go here when stopping at the services. Entry to the country park can be found at the back of the services building beyond the toilets.The path is well surfaced. Lovely lake with ducks.

Great location for a walk or cycle. It gives access to the canal and a walk to woodlesford lock. Be careful in the summer as there is a lot of giant hogweed about

Skelton Country Park
Great for trekking around, dog walking and mountain biking. Plenty of bird species in the area, you get great views of Leeds and the surrounding area when you climb the many steep slopes/hills.

Beautiful on a sunny day to walk away the cares of the working week. Only downside is could do with some more seating for those of us less mobile

Great place for a long walk, just off temple newsam too. There are lots of facilities at the service station too inc. toilets, a park and food/ drink!
