Mottram Parish Church
The vicar is real nice,lovely location with nice views. Has baby changing room,toilet and very clean. There is an area with toys for the kids and it is very easy to find. There is limited parking outside but parking scattered around the sides of the road.Speaker system uses old wiring and can pick up signals from mobiles.do avoid going near them if you are expecting a call

The carving, in marble, of the rostrum and the carvings in the woodwork were amazing! Such attention to detail. The stained glass windows were fantastic, the colours vibrant and the scenes very moving. The whole church was a delight, even the ladies room which was filled with flowers and exceptionally clean. The service was lovely, although sadly a family funeral. The church officials were most welcoming. I would like to visit again for a more detailed inspection. I would like to take some photos,if allowed, I left my mobile phone in the car...just in case. Thank you.

Tending to Evangelical - emphasis on a lot of young families with children who are well catered for.Older & elderly people less so though some clubs available via St.Barnabus, Hattersley.

So sad to attend James's last service yesterday after 7 and a half years as Vicar. Best of luck to him and his family., and to the church family in the search for his replacement.

Lovely graveyard with some old and interesting headstones. Great views across the valley towards Woodhead Pass and Glossop.

Mottram Parish Church
This is a lovely and welcoming parish, and they welcome everyone. The vicar and his wife are lovely and down to earth, and a real asset to our community. I would encourage anyone to come and join us for a service and see for yourself what a friendly bunch we are (I only joined the community 6 years ago).
